Recommendations to others considering Buildfire:
buildfire is a great option if you want to make an app on your own. my biggest recommendation (if you're not already familiar with graphic design) would be to hire someone who can help you with design. while you can build the app on your own through the drag and drop features, having a compelling design is what is going to give you the ability to workaround some of the limitations and to make the app uniquely yours. What problems is Buildfire solving and how is that benefiting you?
one of the biggest reasons why i wanted to work to build an app through buildfire was to monetize my content/writing. the platform has given me the ability to take my writings and put them in a central hub that my audience can enjoy and experience, and allows me to get paid for writing through paid subscriptions. in addition, i wanted to be able to reach my audience directly without worrying about if they'll see my content because of an algorithm. with buildfire, i am able to send push notifications to my audience and never have to worry about fighting an algorithm. my content is pushed straight to their phone. as a result, my audience is now more likely to screenshot my push notification messages and post them to social media— hence, organically growing my reach.
