**What do you like best about Brosix?**

I use Brosix to talk with my team in a safe and simple way. It's now our main tool for day-to-day chat, sending files fast, and sharing screens while making calls when we must explain things quickly. What I like is that it's easy to use and it keeps our talks private. Brosix helps me cut through everyday communication headaches by keeping everything in one secure place, allowing me to quickly message teammates, share files safely, and see who’s available in real time. It makes collaboration feel more natural and immediate, especially with features like screen sharing that are great for quick explanations. I really enjoy how fast and lightweight it feels—it just works without getting in the way. Getting started with Brosix was pretty easy and hassle-free, and I was able to add teammates and start chatting right away without needing much technical know-how.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

Brosix works well overall, but the interface could feel a bit more modern and polished. Some features aren’t very obvious at first, so better guidance or tooltips would make it easier to use, and a few more customization options or integrations would definitely enhance the experience.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

I find Brosix to be a dependable tool for serious, work-focused collaboration. It prioritizes privacy, stability, and control, which builds trust within the team. The built-in features like screen sharing and file transfers are easy to use and don't compromise security. Brosix creates a clear boundary between internal communication and casual messaging, making teamwork feel more professional and intentional. I also appreciate the initial setup, which was fairly simple and straightforward. Creating an account and connecting with the team didn't take much time, and once everything is set up, the platform feels stable and easy to use for daily communication.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

One area where Brosix could improve is the overall user interface, which feels a bit dated compared to newer communication tools. While it’s functional, it’s not as intuitive or visually polished, which can slow down adoption for new users. I also think mobile usability could be better, as the experience isn’t as smooth as on desktop. **What do you like best about Brosix?**

Brosix provide a quick communicating abilities or connecting abilities like sharing messages, files, announcements and many more through one app.
Offers quick to integrate and set up interface, allows to integrate and connect with various third party applications or web sides.
The best thing of Brosix software is that it can be used on daily basis for sending files, messages, connecting with people in team or for project collaboration.
The technical support team here is always available to help instantly if there are any issues in the workflow of this application.
You can keep track of all the chats and documents shared via this software every month. The quick online chatting efficiencies get enhanced and increased with the help of this software. Allows to do project collaborations and discuss over multiple projects quickly.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

We have not specifically experienced any issue while using the software till now. Ass all the features and tools are working well in it and everything is very helpful.

**What problems is Brosix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software has mainly solved our major problem of communicating or connecting instantly anytime with our internal team member or even with the clients. We have used this application to share the files also, and other graphics data or more content.

I find Brosix easy to chat with team members and quickly share files. I like its ease of use and appreciate the clean and simple interface. Setting it up was also very easy.

It turned out to be too simple so we switched to Teams.

The quick communication, one on ones and the multilevel group chatting. Its easy to implement with in the team. It can be integrated easliy . We use it on daily basis.

Most of the the features are fine. I may be more better if we remove the limited user restrictions or increase the no# of users.

Brosix can be installed on both windows and android devices which I find extremely helpful. The joining process on brosix software is very easy with a valid email id. the monthly rate and premium features brosix software use rate are less compared to other instant messaging software.

the free software features has only 3 members to make a group. some times the software hang. the alerts are not always on time to receive. It difficult to understand the software in short span of time.

Since I am working from home it helps a lot with instant message services. we can create a different group and give access to chat room. we can chat across multiple platforms.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

First off, the ease of setup. So flawless and straightforward.  However, the utility to send files over the network to another user is fantastic.  We work with teams in India, and having the ability to send/receive files in real-time has been a massive bonus for us.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

Sometimes the software gets corrupted, and you lose all your contacts and history. However, I do know they are working to rectify these issues and they will always keep me in the loop with updates.

If you are looking for a low-cost collaboration tool for your team worldwide or locally, this is the tool for you!

**What problems is Brosix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Co-browsing, video conferencing, calling, sending, and receiving files.  I love the collaboration tool also when you work with your team on a website in real time or use the whiteboard to triage.  Also having dedicated chat rooms has helped a ton.

It is self-contained; you can set up groups and permissions. Easy to set up and use. There are many new features like having a profile picture to show with the name. Also, the tech support was fast to respond with answers.

The group chat was changed to rooms, and it is a little confusing. It took some time to understand the new features.

It is effortless to set up; adding users is a breeze.

We use Brosix for an internal company chat across different types of devices.  We can send images and even files over chat and get a complete chat record for each month.

As a newer company, Brosix has had server interruptions.  But this appears to have subsided as they have made their server architecture better and less out-sourced

It's a very efficient and versatile chat app when you need something beyond what Microsoft Teams can do

We can chat across multiple platforms including Apple Ipads, Androids, and desktop PC's.  We can manage who has access to whom to chat, and access chat records if there is a dispute about what was said.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

I was looking for an easy-to-use business chat messenger software to have real-time chat with my office team members. I came across Brosix and have been using it for the past 6 years. What I like about Brosix is the fact that the interface is simple and clean. There is no learning curve. Also over the years I have seen introduction of cool features like co-browsing with other team members, sending an instant screenshots to others.

There is nothing specific that I dislike about Brosix.

We love Brosix, we have been using it in our medical office for years!!. It is super easy to use on desktop and mobile. My whole staff has it on desktop, no cell phones allowed and I can communicate quickly with them, also love the reports in the system!!

I would love to have the group chat feature back as part of my plan without having to have to upgrade since its the only thing that I would really want back as part of my plan.

Customizable to my company, HIPPA compliant, secure messaging system.  This platform is very user-friendly and easy for my complete team, both onsite and remote.  We can send files if needed and just a great messaging platform.

There is nothing on the software side that I dislike.  If I had to list something, it would be the price point and affordability.

If looking for a user-friendly, robust messaging system with high-level security, this is your App!

We are able to troubleshoot team account issues instantly rather than waiting on an email thread.  We also can see who is working and online immediately—many other benefits to having your team in one area that you can instantly access.

I was able to get Brosix up and running within about 15 minutes.  Our team is spread across mulitple locations and now are able to quickly communicate with each other with the Brosix app.  Orr office manager loves it because she's able to check in with employees frequently without interrupting their productivity.  What an improvement in speed and efficiency!

So far, nothing.  The software works great.

Brosix is always up and reliable. I am able to review and find any conversations I need when I am looking on the back end. It is always up and makes it easy to communicate with other employees.

Sometimes the remote sharing does not work like it should. It will freeze up.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

We've been using Brosix for many years in two different business we own and run. We initially tried Brosix as a replacement for a cobbled together encrypted pidgen IM application which was not very reliable.  Brosix turned our quick intraoffice and interoffice communication around! I love how easy it is to set up and deploy Brosix to all of our desktop, chromebook and mobile devices.  The ability to set up contact groups means sending broadcast messages is quick. The recent addition of more emojis has brought a smile to members of our team. The response of the support tickets and questions has been fast and thorough. Lastly, the cost can't be beat, I know, I've tried.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

The billing and licensing setup is a little confusing. We removed a couple of licenses, but that information didn't translate over to the billing department so we ended up being charged the following billing cycle. When I brought my problem to support's attention the issue was fixed right away.

**What problems is Brosix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a quick way to send brief info like voice messages, bits of text or reminders.  Brosix saved us time and stress about the security of our communications.

Simplicity, easy to set-up chat rooms, easy to set-up users, simple security, price

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

Website chat, the chat link that can be added to websites is limited and the manner in which that type of chat is handled through BroSix is crude.   That said, the regular user-user-group chat is great!

**What problems is Brosix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inner office communication and inter-office communication.  We have hosted VOIP through 3cx and we have access to Office365 but both of those solutions have really limited options for outside users that need continued support/communication.  We didn't want to have multiple different chat interfaces, so we just us BroSix and give clients their own accounts.  We are involved in the medical field so security and compliance are important.  We have remote doctors that take mobile pics of demos and send charges that way.  The mobile pics are not saved to the cell camera folders.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

It's simple, private and secure. Unlike Skype there's nothing else to distract you. Brosix has all the features you need to be able to communicate, assist and work with clients. I give it my full recommendation as I've used it for hundred of clients over the last 10 years.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

I would say the support could be a little better and maybe have a live chat. I've not needed to use it much but when I have it's not been the best and it can take a little too long when it's urgent.

It's a secure platform for my clients to share information and files. Also the remote screen control is a great feature to help them.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

I like how it saves all the history on the app or online and you are able to use it anywhere. Also that you are able to do screen share and make calls to other users and do video calls. Also the security part of it as I can control who can chat with who and also monitor the chats to make sure my staff is not chatting about personal stuff with each other and wasting time at work. The best part is that I have full control on the paid version and I also use it for my clients to communicate with my staff and I have full access to see everything.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

I can't say there is anything that I don't like about it as it has all the features that anyone would want from a secure chat platform, I guess if it cost even less it would be better. Maybe if they had an admin app so its easier to monitor everything that would make it better because I haven't seen one yet.

Use it and see what you think , it has really helped my company out in organization. Especially if yo have employees that are in communication with your clients. You can see everything they have typed so that you can also use it for quality assurance purposes.

Brosix is a great team building tool!  We have multiple offices and this communication tool is vital.  We have used Brosix for more that 5 years.   I can't remember ever having a problem or the service being down.

Wish there were more fun emoticons etc.  Staff enjoys using them.

Besides the individual chats; the group chats are a great way to have specific conversations with specific people.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

The ease of use and efficiency. Easy to share documents and communicate. Also like the emojis that are provided on brosix, it helps make the work environment fun and alive. Also like the ability to screen share makes solving problems as a team much easier. The nudge tool is great because it gets your attention right away if it is important.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

The update installations that messes up the setup and have to battle it for a good 15-20 min to get back up and running. Also would like to be able to hold video meetings as a group like Skype, Google Duo, or Google Meet. It would allow us to only use this platform and not use others for our group meetings.

**What problems is Brosix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easier to communicate with the office staff. File sharing simple and efficient. Definitely like that we can communicate with each other while being on the phone with a client. We used to be in the same office and we have all moved to separate locations and still communicating with this software. We have used it much more now that some of us work from home or different offices.

**What do you like best about Brosix?**

It is secure and allows us to communicate in multiple formats (IM, video chat, phone call, screen share etc..) We asked them to make a feature where you can mute certain chat room/groups but still view the messages and they added it! Like being able to send out Broadcasts as well. Can customize how you are alerted when you have a message waiting for you. 
We like that we can view each members use. We actually found staff members misuing company equipment and time due to messages that were stored for the admin.

**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

Every computer work station experiences this at random times where we need to use a special link to remove brosix and redownload because it's freezing, not signing in or has strange little bugs. 
-We used another program where you can mute a room unless someone "Tags" you in a message by using @[name]. That is a much missed feature that we requested and does not seem to have any signs of being added. 
-I know this sounds silly but we would love more emojis/GIFs. We used another program that allowed this and it was a great way to connect and show personality with our remote team. It also helps when tone can easily be missed in messages but you don't have time for a call. 
The software is pretty outdated looking and every time something is not working they make you go back to a previous version with little to no explanation that is even MORE old school. I'm currently using a version that I feel like I went back in time.

It's worth it for the price you pay and the security.

Our remote team is able to communicate efficiently as well as our team in house. We use it to see if someone is available for a call to be transfered as well as a way to quickly get notices to our team right away.

It's very affordable! We pay about $3/user/month, and for what it offers that's hard to beat, short of running your own XMPP server or something. It does offer pretty good cross-platform support, and the product support staff is well-intentioned. It's also oddly endearing. Our office lovingly uses the verb "Bro" to mean use Brosix. There are funny (quirky - check out "milk") themes too.


**What do you dislike about Brosix?**

It's not the most modern interface, it can be buggy at times, and there are limitations - like history is specific to device, not login. So if you signed in on your laptop, had some chats, and later want to retrieve those from your desktop, it's not an option. It's also not as beautiful as other options like Slack. You can't paste pre-formatted code, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Brosix:**

If you are really stretching your funding, it's a good option to consider. Otherwise you may want to push for Slack. Or build your own jabber server, etc.

The thing I like best is the wide range of features. Even though we don't use every one every day, they all come in handy at some point in time.

Overall, the entire Brosix experience is solid. Everything is where it should be, making it easy for all team members to use. My only complaint would be there are so many features it's hard to decide how to best communicate.
