What do you like best about BRIGHTSCOUT?

I appreciated Brightscout’s ability to balance strategic guidance with collaborative involvement. Their team brought fresh perspectives while keeping us engaged throughout the process, ensuring our feedback shaped the final outcome. They facilitated impactful workshops, collected input from stakeholders across the organization, and created space for valuable discussions that helped guide the direction. As an in-house brand design manager, I felt my role and insights were respected, and much of our team’s feedback was meaningfully integrated. Edu, our project manager, was particularly effective at maintaining open communication and keeping the project on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BRIGHTSCOUT?

While the outcome of the project was strong, there are areas where the process could have been improved:

• Requirements & Exploration – A more detailed requirements-gathering phase at the start would have been valuable. The visual territory workshops were engaging, but the “pick which style you like best” approach narrowed exploration too quickly. A broader, more divergent set of creative directions — including examples of what wouldn’t work — could have led to an even stronger outcome.

• Templates & Deliverables – Because this project built on existing systems, I would have liked to see more discovery around how our brand elements interact before diving into design execution. While the visuals were well-executed, the final deliverables leaned more toward style references and guidelines rather than fully usable templates, which created extra work for our team.

• Print & File Formats – All deliverables were initially provided in Figma, which worked well for digital assets but less so for print. After requesting them, InDesign templates were provided for brochures, stationery, and business cards — a critical inclusion I would have expected from the start.

• Scheduling – Some weekly meetings were pushed or canceled, which made us feel like we were being neglected or excluded from the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
