How it works Every request is protected with a one-time token generated on the client side. Your backend sends the token to BotBye API through a server-side SDK, and BotBye evaluates the request in real time, returning an allow, challenge, or block decision along with risk scoring and behavioral signals. Integration takes minutes — SDKs are available for Node.js, Next.js, Nuxt, NestJS, Kotlin, OpenResty, Java, Spring, and PHP. Detection and scoring Every evaluation includes multiple layers of analysis: Risk Score, Abuse Score, ATO Score, and MultiAccount Detection. A built-in rules engine with custom rules, rate limiting, and custom flows allows teams to build protection logic tailored to their specific threats. What BotBye protects against Account takeover, brute force attacks, credential stuffing, data scraping, API abuse, fake account creation, multi-accounting, form spam, coupon fraud, and account sharing. Phishing protection BotBye detects phishing sites impersonating your brand, including HTML clones, reverse proxy attacks that intercept live sessions and bypass MFA, and custom-built fakes. Detection combines active scanning for lookalike domains with passive real-time origin mismatch detection. Once identified, BotBye responds with takedown requests, code-level counter-attacks on attacker pages, and flagging compromised users for password resets. Stolen credentials from phishing feed account takeovers and credential stuffing. Analytics and visibility Real-time dashboards show traffic patterns, blocked threats, and bot activity trends with full request details.
