"Intuitive, Versatile, and Backed by Outstanding Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

Board Intelligence proved to be the best possible choice for our organisation. Its intuitiveness and ease of use are a big plus which contributed to a seamless integration with our systems, but I also have to point out that the level of support from their Support Team is second to none. In addition, I would also like to point out that the produce is highly versatile and from our perspective, we could easily apply it to our internal group structure but also on the client side as a CSP. Given to its ease of use, its performance is excellent and we have encountered very few issues and where we have, they have easily been solved by their excellent support. I've recently been invited to review a couple of similar products in the market just as a point of interest and I have to point out that for our specific needs, the pricing is highly competitive. On the AI front, it is clear that they have made great strides though we are not availing of this particular service given that we have our own internal systems which serve their purpose at this moment in time. What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

It’s difficult to find anything negative to say about it, but if I’m being constructive, I’ve received various internal comments about its ability to act as a repository for signed documents. While I always explain that this isn’t its specific purpose and that there are workarounds to achieve this, from a development perspective it may be something worth considering going forward. Response from Lewis Morley of Board Intelligence

Hi Terence,

Thanks for such a thoughtful and considered review. It is genuinely great to hear how well Board Intelligence has fitted into your organisation, particularly around the ease of integration and how smoothly it has supported both your internal structure and client-facing work. It is also really encouraging to hear how much value you have found in the consistency of the platform and the support experience, especially when things have needed attention along the way.

It is interesting and helpful to hear the feedback around using the platform as a repository for signed documents. We do understand why that expectation as a repository comes up, and your point about potential workarounds and future consideration is a fair and constructive one that we will make sure is shared with the relevant team.

We also really appreciate your broader reflections on value and fit, especially given your perspective on comparable tools. It is always useful for us to understand how Board Intelligence sits in that wider landscape for organisations like yours.

As you continue working with the platform, please do keep us updated with your experiences over time. It is always valuable for us to hear how things evolve in real use, and we look forward to continuing to support you as your needs develop.

All our very best,

The BI Team.

"Easy, Organized Board Packs with a Professional Finish"
5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

It makes it much easier to put together and share board packs with clients. It helps keep everything organized, makes the process more efficient, and gives the final output a professional feel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

Some parts of the platform aren’t as intuitive as they could be, for example highlighting to delete words moves the entire line of an agenda, so quick updates can take longer than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Board Intelligence Makes Board Packs Effortless, with Outstanding Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

What I like best about Board Intelligence is how easy and user-friendly it is to use. The drag-and-drop interface saves me hours each week and it makes preparing board packs much simpler and more efficient, which saves a lot of time and effort. The platform is also very well received by our directors, which is a huge advantage. Another major upside is the support team - they are always extremely responsive and efficient in helping with any queries, and Michael Kuti in particular has been especially helpful. The AI minute writer saves hours in drafting the minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

There is very little to dislike about Board Intelligence. Overall, the platform is intuitive and works very well for our needs. If anything, as with any system, there can be a slight learning curve when first getting started, but the responsive support team makes that process very smooth. "Board Intelligence increases efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

I find Board Intelligence to be a useful reference tool for our Board of Trustees and for us as administrators - really simple to use when putting together meeting packs and an excellent reference base for everyone. Less "can you just send me" queries! Onboarding is so easy! We can set new users up in minutes and they are off and rarely have any problems - the set up is intuitive and easy to understand. When a question does arise, as it did this week, the helpdesk is first class. This week, they responded to my query in less than 30 minutes (thank you Yasmin Mowafy, Customer Support Team Lead). What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

It's a bit of an investment, but I think is worth it. We were asked to sign up for AI minute writing and report writing but it was out of our price range (although the charity discount on Board Intelligence sign-up is appreciated!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Navigate Portal with a Feature-Rich, User-Friendly App, and amazing support team"
5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

I like that the portal is very easy to use and navigate, the shelves are clear and various meetings can be added. The app version is user friendly, with various features such as note making, bookmarking, now an additional feature of InsightDriver which can allow more in depth conversatoins Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

The current issue I have is that if your pack is published and you make changes to the pack, there is no way to undo these, especially when you have to make changes. Though, the team is really helpful and suggested the change to the products team to look into Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lewis Morley of Board Intelligence

Thanks for your review, we really appreciate it.

It’s great to hear you’re finding the platform easy to navigate and that features like shelving, the mobile app, and Insight Driver are supporting more effective meetings and discussion and that the drag-and-drop agenda updates are making planning more efficient and flexible.

In relation to the ability to undo changes, our product team are great at picking up and implementing users feedback so this is certainly a space to watch as we continue to improve on the features and control we offer. That said we do have some options like pack cloning that could be a useful option when making changes to current published packs, this would act as a safety net, should any changes need to be reverted.

Thanks again for sharing your experience!

"Fast, Effective Pack Portal & Board Effectiveness Reviews"
5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

The speed and effectiveness of the board pack portal is great. It makes it very quick and easy to compile and circulate board packs. The 24/7 customer support team are also great at dealing with any issues that crop up. I use Board Intelligence on an almost daily basis and it is one of my favourite products/tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

The layout of our board pack portal changed w/e 1 February 2025 following our decision to onboard a separate Board Intelligence product (Board Surveys). I preferred the layout of the old portal which looked more professional. We also had some speed and performance issues associated with that change, however, BI's customer support team have looked into this and those issues do now appear to have been fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lewis Morley of Board Intelligence

Hello Jamie,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this, given how heavily you’re using the platform your feedback is genuinely useful for us .

It’s great to hear how much of a difference the speed and ease of building board packs is making for you, particularly with the sheer number of meetings you’re running each year. And being called one of your favourite tools definitely means a lot! Really glad to hear the support team has been there for you when needed too, they will be very happy to have been mentioned.

On the portal changes, I completely understand your point; When you’re used to a certain look and feel (especially one that felt more polished), changes can be a bit jarring and it’s really helpful to hear your perspective on this as it will help us to shape future changes.

It’s also brilliant to hear how far things have come since the old paper/PDF days, that’s exactly the kind of transformation we’re aiming to support.

I do hope your experience with Board Surveys is as positive an experience as you have had with rest of Board Intelligence, we would be very keen to hear your feedback on this as your time with the product grows.

Really appreciate you sharing.

All our very best,

The BI Team

"Streamlined Board Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

I use Board Intelligence to access and manage board and committee papers. It helps me create agendas, meeting packs, and request paper submissions without the headache of managing multiple document versions, as submissions are made directly. I love the ability to build, manage, and distribute packs electronically, which really reduces manual effort and risks that come with preparing meetings. Having everything on a single platform is so much more controlled, and centralized pack management means directors always get the most current versions, even with last-minute updates. I also find updating agendas really easy since it automatically renumbers. The security aspect is impressive too, as it eliminates the need for email attachments, providing a central repository for historical meetings. Setting it up was quite smooth for me. What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

Managing permissions and supporting less frequent users can be a bit of a challenge. Board members adapt quickly, but new joiners and other less frequent users will need more guidance and support because it's not that intuitive. It's also difficult to get a quick view of access and permissions or where certain controls sit. Some functions are hidden unless you know where to look. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless, Secure Board Pack Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

I like that Board Intelligence is intuitive, with the board packs clearly labeled and easily accessible. I appreciate the ability to send board packs to multiple people simultaneously, which helps with version control. I also enjoy how it combines all papers into a singular PDF pack, which improves the circulation of board papers to committees or board members, making it more efficient and easier for recipients to review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

I find the process of adding people to the circulation list unclear and could use a better explanation for new users on what happens when a board pack is published on Board Intelligence. It would be helpful to have a tab within the board pack edit version that shows who the pack will be visible to when published and the ability to add new recipients. "Very helpful platform for compiling Board Packs"
5/5
What do you like best about Board Intelligence?

Board Intelligence simplifies the whole Board Pack experience - from Agenda creation to pulling whole packs together. Nothing is forgotten! Customer Support is also exceptional - any issues are dealt with immediately and in layman's terms, therefore very easy to understand. BI is also very user friendly - I quite appreciate that there's no need to renumber agenda items as number reformatting can be a pain...! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Board Intelligence?

I can't think of any dislikes at the momemt...! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
