"Automates Analytics with Ease and Flexibility"
What do you like best about BlazeSQL?

I use BlazeSQL to automate the analytics of our data warehouse, which allows people without experience in data analytics to query and report themselves. It significantly reduces the load on our data/analytics team since they don't have to support day-to-day queries anymore. I appreciate that it allows people to make data-driven decisions rather than just relying on intuition. BlazeSQL is a well-streamlined product, and I like that they frequently add new updates, listening to feedback, which makes me feel like the product is tailored well for our use case. The feedback loop ensures good support if we encounter issues down the line. I also like that the initial setup was very easy since it connects to BigQuery out of the box. What do you dislike about BlazeSQL?

It would be good to see either some key features available in lower subscription tiers, or potentially more tiers to let us access the features without needing to spend on things that aren't relevant. The main things we would like are full access to permissions/groups (as this is a critical security area to enable wider rollout) and the ability for the chatbot to access public/online sources, so that it can contextualize conversations. "Empowers Teams with User-Friendly Analytics"
What do you like best about BlazeSQL?

What I appreciate most is how it functions more like a capable analysis partner. You can give it higher-level questions or goals in plain English - e-g. "Help me figure out why new user retention dropped in the last cohort and what might be driving it" - and it reasons through it: runs the right breakdowns, surfaces key patterns, provides supporting visuals and explains things clearly. You can then iterate naturally ("focus on mobile users", etc.) and it keeps context well. The natural language knowledge base (simple notes for things like activation definitions, exclusions, fiscal rules) makes it comparatively easy to get it understanding our specific database and business logic, leading to more accurate and relevant outputs without heavy ongoing effort. As a results, people across marketing, product, and ops are doing independent analysis and are not limited to pre-built dashboards or waiting for data pulls. It's best suited for internal exploration and decision support. Also, the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transformative AI BI for Effortless Analysis"
What do you like best about BlazeSQL?

I really like how BlazeSQL stays reliable once you add a few plain language knowledge notes. It's straightforward to do without needing to build extensive or massive semantic layers. The tool understands our data properly. People across operations, customer service, and management can dive deeper into their own areas using plain language instead of a query. They don't have to go through CSV files or be stuck with fixed dashboards. Everyone can test ideas right away, apply their knowledge, and reach clear conclusions. The whole team feels more informed and confident in decision making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BlazeSQL?

There are a few things that could probably be improved. Nothing really major that I can think about. Just small visual things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BlazeSQL is a game changer for data analysis"
What do you like best about BlazeSQL?

As a business intelligence lead who manages the BI function, BlazeSQL allows me to build faster, service more data requests, allow users to self-serve, all while I focus on the high value aspects of my role, instead of spending hours writing SQL.

From the first time I used Blaze, I was impressed at how well it understood our database schem, producing accurate results within minutes of setup. And when it does need correction, training Blaze is easy so that it remembers your company's business logic and terminology for next time. I love the technical view, which allows me to view the SQL Blaze is generating to validate it, or correct it if needed.

While Blaze has made me more efficient in providing data analysis to the business, it's also opened up another powerful use case for myself and other users. It's a great tool for doing exploratory analysis - asking it a broad question, then drilling down, asking it to compare segments, find anomalies, and uncover insights - all through natural language, and in matter of minutes. For me, this would take me far longer, writing query after query. But more importantly, it's empowered other non-technical users to do the same, something that they would otherwise be unable to do, and would be unlikely ask the BI team to handle, given the open-ended nature of the analysis.

Blaze has become a cornerstone of our BI function, allowing us to leverage AI to answer more questions, faster, which in turn has made us much more data-driven as a company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BlazeSQL?

I'd love better permissioning, so that I can grant access to specific tables or datasets to specific users. Blaze said it's on their roadmap, and there is a workaround in the meantime.

You can export results to Excel or CSV, but I would like a way to copy to clipboard or Google Sheets (like I can do in BigQuery) . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
