Pricing options exist for:
• Project-based testing (pay as you go)
• Subscriptions (monthly or annual)

Credits are used as the currency on the platform, and packages of credits can be purchased on a pay-as-you-go basis, ranging from 5 credits to 3,000 credits, or as a Subscription. The cost of credits decreases with volume to provide automatic and transparent volume pricing discounts.

With a Subscription, credits are provided each month, and unused credits roll over month-to-month. BetaTesting provides a credit calculator to estimate how many credits you'll need: https://betatesting.com/price-calculator

PRICING FAQ:

• What is a credit?
Most simple tests start at 1 credit per tester. Longer tests cost more, and niche targeting (business professionals or very narrow audiences) costs more. Packages and subscriptions with more credits have volume discounts built-in, so you'll pay less per tester.

• Are tester incentives included in the pricing?
Yes, we provide fair incentives to testers, and they are included in the credit pricing and there are no additional per-tester costs for you. We provide much higher incentives than many other research platforms because we care about quality feedback and quality participants.

• When do we pay?
We charge your credit card when you purchase a Project-based credit package or start a subscription. In any test you run, you have the opportunity to review and approve testers for completion and reject those that don't provide quality testing/feedback. We only deduct credits for testers that finish with quality participation.

• Can you send an invoice?
If your package costs \> 5K, we can provide you with an Invoice to pay via ACH/Bank Transfer/Check.

Generated using AI

Is Beta Testing free, or does it offer a free trial?

Beta Testing does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

How much does Beta Testing cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Beta Testing pricing in 2026 starts at $170.00 and can reach $20,000.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the BetaTesting's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Beta Testing pricing best suited for?

Beta Testing's pricing structure suits a wide range of buyers, but G2 review data skews heavily toward small businesses with 50 or fewer employees, spanning industries including computer software, consumer electronics, health and wellness, and consulting. The pay-as-you-go Credit Packages tier fits startups and small teams running occasional tests without committing to recurring costs. Beta Testing's Subscription tier suits mid-market product teams in software, construction, and consumer goods that launch features frequently and benefit from rollover credits and customization. Enterprise pricing targets large organizations needing dedicated tester panels, security reviews, and volume discounts, with G2 reviewers in outsourcing, accounting, and IT services representing that segment.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Beta Testing?

Beta Testing does not offer a permanent free tier, but a free trial is available for evaluation. The entry point is the Project-Based Credit Packages tier, a pay-as-you-go model where buyers purchase credits per test and only pay for participants who complete it. Beta Testing's paid Subscription plans, starting at $170.00/month, add discounted per-credit pricing, unused credit rollover, branding customizations, SSO, custom bug and profile fields, and the ability to invite your own users. Beta Testing's Enterprise tier, from $20,000.00/year, further adds a dedicated tester panel, security reviews, and negotiable contract terms unavailable in lower tiers.

Is Beta Testing considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers of Beta Testing consistently signal strong value, with the majority awarding 5.0/5 ratings. Multiple small-business reviewers explicitly call Beta Testing's pricing 'very reasonable,' 'very competitive,' and 'affordable,' particularly for the volume and quality of feedback received. One G2 reviewer cited bulk testing of up to 1,000 users at roughly $2.50 per tester as 'insanely valuable.' A minority of reviewers flag cost as a concern, with one noting tasks can feel expensive relative to complexity. G2 reviews also highlight that Beta Testing's pricing compares favorably against assembling focus groups internally, making it especially cost-effective for small teams and startups needing real-world user feedback quickly.

"Very useful if the users are well filtered"

5/5

What do you like best about Beta Testing?

The most useful thing is that you can get feedback on the product or new features and discover new errors or new use cases that you hadn't considered during implementation. This allows you to release much more verified features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beta Testing?

It seems to me that not everyone is qualified to perform tasks. And they force you to pay quite a bit; the work to be done should be assessed and the price to be invested should be measured, and from there set a price. Sometimes the tasks are very simple and quick (less than 1 minute) and you have to pay the same as if it were a task that requires 1 day or more to complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Beta Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?

Software QA, we have an entire department dedicated to testing. Without beta testing, it would be much more difficult for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhanced Testing Flow, Very Useful for Startups"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Beta Testing?

I find Beta Testing's built-in product beta testing features to be superior, making it a standout choice over other platforms like UserInterviews. The platform has significantly facilitated the task of gathering high-quality real user feedback for our iOS app, which has proven essential for our product development and refinement processes. The participants' quality is notably high, which enhances the credibility and reliability of the feedback. The built-in testing flow is particularly appealing as it eases the process for both participants and researchers, creating a smoother and faster testing experience. Additionally, seeing how users interact with and describe our product through Beta Testing aids us immensely in feature prioritization and positioning, which are critical aspects of successful product management. Furthermore, the test templates provided by Beta Testing are predominantly useful, streamlining our testing processes and allowing us to focus on analyzing feedback rather than setting up tests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Beta Testing?

I find some of the flows in Beta Testing not intuitive, which requires going back and forth during setup. Additionally, the feature for automatically saving doesn't work as expected. I believe there's a need for improved performance as well as clearer explanations regarding expiration dates and pricing options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Beta Testing solving and how is that benefiting you?

I find Beta Testing valuable for gathering high-quality user feedback for my iOS app, simplifying feedback collection and improving feature prioritization and product positioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
