"Best-in-Class Forensics Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

Belkasoft's graphical user interface is the best GUI of any forensic tool I have ever used. As a college student, I have had the opportunity to test out several other tools, such as FTK, Autopsy, and AXIOM. However, none of the other tools had the capabilities that Belkasoft has. It has its own artificial intelligence assistant called BelkaGPT that can query from within the data source provided. It has a simple to use SQLite viewer and the ability to query databases using SQL. Overall, every time I have used Belkasoft, it has impressed me more and more. I have recommended it to everyone I know that is interested in digital forensics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

Honestly, nothing. It is the best of the best forensics tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Computer, Mobile, and Memory Forensics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

What I like best about Belkasoft is its ability to acquire and analyze data from multiple sources, including computers, mobile devices, RAM dumps, and cloud artifacts, within a single platform. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, which reduces investigation time. Its artifact recovery and timeline analysis features are highly effective for identifying critical evidence quickly. The comprehensive reporting options also make it convenient to present forensic findings in a clear and professional manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

One area that could be improved in Belkasoft is the processing speed when handling very large datasets or complex mobile extractions. Some advanced features may also require additional training for new users to use them effectively. The software can be resource-intensive, requiring a high-performance system for optimal performance. More detailed documentation and troubleshooting guidance for certain artifacts would further enhance the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient SQLite Forensic Analysis with Belkasoft"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

The software performs well for analyzing SQLite databases and working with forensic data. I found it especially useful for identifying deleted records and recovering information from WAL and journal files that might not be visible in standard SQLite viewers. It’s also fairly easy to get started with, particularly if you already have a basic understanding of digital forensics and SQLite. The documentation is clear and helpful as you learn the platform and explore its features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

One area that could be improved is the learning curve for some of the more advanced features, which can take a bit of time to get comfortable with. Processing large amounts of forensic data can also be time consuming, depending on the size and complexity of the evidence being analyzed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and verifiable forensic analysis with Belkasoft X"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

What I liked most about Belkasoft X is that it combines automated artifact analysis with tools that allow you to directly review and validate the original data. During the Advanced SQLite Queries course, I especially used the SQLite viewer and the execution of advanced queries. I found it very useful to be able to examine the structure of the databases, their tables and records, along with the information associated with WAL and journal files, without having to constantly switch between different applications. For a forensic expert, this ability to move from the automated result to the underlying data provides greater control, traceability, and technical verification capability. The platform is comprehensive, powerful, and clearly oriented towards professional digital investigations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

What I liked the least is that, being a very comprehensive tool, the interface can be somewhat dense at first. Some advanced functions are not easy to locate without prior training or consulting the documentation. In my case, while working with SQLite queries, I needed some time to familiarize myself with the location of the options and the analysis flow. I think it would be useful to incorporate more contextual help, practical examples, and guided tours within the program itself. I don't consider it a technical limitation, but rather a logical learning curve in a forensic platform of this level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Forensic Case Setup with Fast, Automated Cross-Source Searches"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

The streamlined, intuitive interface lets forensic investigators set up cases quickly and run automated searches across multiple evidence sources at the same time. Tools such as the unified timeline visualizer and cross-case analysis make it easy to correlate findings, which noticeably speeds up triage and report generation when cases are urgent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

While the interface is generally functional, navigating more complex, deeply nested evidence structures can sometimes feel a bit clunky. Also, customizing the final reports to match specific organizational or legal formatting requirements could be more flexible and easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Workflow for Forensic Investigations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

I like Belkasoft's comprehensive artifact support and intuitive interface. It's easier to analyze large amounts of forensic data, quickly find relevant evidence, and streamline the overall investigation workflow. I value its broad artifact support, timeline analysis, keyword searching, and evidence extraction as these features help me quickly identify relevant artifacts, correlate activity, and build a clear timeline during forensic investigations. The initial setup was straightforward, making it easy to install and configure. I would highly recommend it to colleagues in digital forensics and incident response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

The main area for improvement is performance when processing very large datasets. Some advanced features also have a learning curve. Better documentation, faster processing, and more automation would make the overall experience even smoother. Belkasoft could further improve the experience by optimizing performance for large evidence sets, expanding automation for repetitive forensic tasks, and improving integration with security platforms such as EDR/SIEM solutions. More detailed documentation, practical investigation guides, and easier customization of reports would also make the workflow more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Belkasoft: User-Friendly, Powerful Evidence Analysis with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Belkasoft?

I do like the fact that Belka soft has the ability to identify evidence, process the evidence and analyze it. it is so user friendly and very easy to navigate throe the platform. it is very impressive how it handles a large amount of data and how it works well it integrates into the forensic environment, and the level of intelligence are unbelievably amazing. the cost of the product is do able for levels of investigators. I must say that the support you receive whether you attend training or have a question about the software. you always receive a friendly and a quick response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Belkasoft?

One drawback of Belkasoft is that the licensing cost can be high, which may be difficult for smaller businesses or independent investigators to justify. It can also require a fairly powerful computer to run smoothly, especially when working with large amounts of digital evidence. While the basic features are easy to learn, some of the more advanced functions take time and training to master. In very large cases, processing and analysis can sometimes take longer than expected, and certain newer or less common apps may not always be supported as comprehensively as investigators would like. Additionally, some specialized forensic tools may offer deeper functionality in specific areas such as mobile forensics or cloud investigations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
