The pricing is pretty expensive and the turnaround times are pretty lengthy. With the various editors comes various quality and care. Sometimes it'll seem like the editor really wants to do a good job and then on the next video will show careless mistakes and quality. It's hard to know if you're getting a newbie or a senior editor.

For example, I asked for 16:9 ratio and the editor said that because of this, I clearly didn't want 4k, but that's just aspect ratio, not resolution. On that note I had asked for all videos to be delivered in 4k thereafter but I still need to request manually each time.

It just feels like you're one of many clients they're dealing with and they're just trying to either get your project out as fast as possible, or putting yours to the side for a few days.

A bit of a learning curve to get the hang of how everything works. Need to be better suited to working with a lot of data (I had 500 GB coming into this project). I have used beCreatives for almost a year now and I am really REALLY happy with the service.

The platform beCreatives have is super easy to use.

My editor is absolutely incredible and crushes every vidoe I send him. My videos are complicated and there is a lot of footage to sift through, sometimes up to an hour in order to create a 90sec video. They get the job turned around quickly, meaning I can have a consistent and steady flow of content for my audience, delivering 2-3 videos a week.

If I decide I want anything changed, I can just let them know within the platform and they are quick to respond, making the necessary edits almost instantly.

The time it frees up, allows me to focus on creating more content at a better standard becuase I am not spending a 1/2 of my time editing.

I have found the process of replacement editors a little less impressive.

Usually it is down to communication, and the fact any replacement editors I've had, have never contacted me when stepping into the role.

I like things in a very particular way that my editor knows and delivers on but others can miss when viewing the content.

So often a replace editor will deliver a video having never discussed it with me. This means the results can vary (as you would expect), and I feel I spend more time explaining and requesting re-edits than I would like to.

I've been with Becreatives for over a year now. They will work with you and are very flexible. If there is any issue, they are eager to help make sure you get your expectations of the edits. They've really streamlined things and are always improving the backend of the process so it's super easy to submit editing requests. The only thing I'd suggest for improvement is to have editors that really really get to know their client so there is less back and forth on each project and the editor can more predict what that particular client will need/want for the project. My favorite thing is the custom process they have created that streamlines the whole editing sequence. Communication with your video editor is normally the hardest part, but beCreatives custom workflow makes communication extremely easy. The best part is that you get to make notes and requests that are time stamped so your editor knows exactly where you are requesting a change. A huge time saver for me!
