The uploading process to initiate a takeoff is so simple, I am able to upload the drawings set and work on other projects while awaiting the BOM. Their customer service is always asking ways they can improve. A decent turnaround time.I am able to download files into excel making it easy to share BOM. Beam AI has helped us significantly improve the speed and consistency of our estimating process. On larger projects we’re saving 3–5 days on takeoffs, which allows our team to stay ahead of bid deadlines and spend more time evaluating the project instead of rushing through quantity work. Before adopting Beam AI, we handled takeoffs manually using On-Screen Takeoff (OST). Larger projects could require several days of dedicated effort, which often limited how many bids our team could realistically pursue at the same time. With Beam AI, we’re able to process takeoffs faster and handle a higher volume of bids without increasing our estimating staff. Because our estimators also manage projects once they are awarded, the time savings has been important. It allows them to focus more on project coordination, planning, and building relationships with general contractors, rather than spending most of their time on repetitive takeoff work. The auto-detection of spec details and keyed notes has helped improve takeoff accuracy and has reduced the number of RFIs we typically generate. Through my current use of Beam AI, I've found significant improvements in our workflow. The software is easy to use and most importantly, extremely effective for getting our estimates out in a timely manner. The customer support I've experienced with Beam and Attentive has been top notch. I also like how easy it was to implement and integrate the service into our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Beam AI? I can honestly say I don't have any issues with Beam AI. I haven't encountered any serious bugs, and the very minor ones I have get fixed very quickly by the customer support team. I initially expected the cost to be one of the downsides, but in reality, its actually lowered our estimate creation costs. I've begun to use it more and more frequently. The estimates I receive from Beam have a quicker turn-around than any other solution we've used so far. Not only is the estimation process more efficient now, but the takeoffs we receive are also incredibly accurate, which was a pleasant surprise given the quick turn-around.
