Be Safe - Work Alone Monitoring Reviews & Product Details

Be Safe - Work Alone Monitoring combines lone-worker safety software with 24/7 bilingual human monitoring included. Workers use the iOS or Android app to start shifts, check in, and raise panic alerts. Be Safe Operators review safety alarms, contact workers, and follow client-defined escalation procedures, with a dated record of actions and resolution. English and French support is available. Supervisors can monitor active-shift locations, check-in status, journeys, breaks, and alarms from a central dashboard. Company and emergency response plan (ERP) area scopes help operators focus their view while alarms remain visible globally. Worker details include current speed and heading. Archive route playback provides timeline controls, step navigation, adjustable playback speeds, and a full-route view; exports include speed and heading. Mass notifications can reach permitted users, ERP groups, or companies through SMS, email, push notifications, and supported satellite messaging where configured. Detailed audit logs record mass notifications. A messages sidebar displays received SMS and satellite messages from the previous 24 hours, with unread filtering. On-demand and recurring shift reports support daily, weekly, or monthly schedules. Reports can cover selected workers, ERP areas, billing groups, or a company, with configurable overview, shift summary, ERP summary, and daily activity sections. Reports are delivered through private, signed download links that expire after seven days. Shift scheduling, user-installation information, role-based access, and activity logs support day-to-day administration and program review. Supported satellite communicators and the connected RKI GX-3R Pro gas detector can extend available location, messaging, and alarm capabilities. Functions depend on the device, service plan, configuration, coverage, and operating conditions. A paired smartphone must not be assumed to be intrinsically safe or a reliable fall-detection device. Be Safe manages client setup and provides training and direct support to users. Service is month to month with no contract term, and trial periods of up to 14 days are available. Employers remain responsible for their hazard assessments, procedures, training, and applicable compliance obligations. Built for daily use: Be Safe Guardian helps keep the app active during an active shift. Automatic check-ins while driving help minimize distractions, and scheduled shifts provide reminders and missed-shift notifications. Journey management includes field-level hazard assessment (FLHA), risk weighting and travel planning. Ending a shift suspends monitoring and app updates. Supervisor control: dashboard-managed on-demand and scheduled reports replace the previous automatic monthly-report workflow. Supervisors control report timing, recipients and sections, with searchable scheduled-report management. User totals, check-in statuses and the Center Pins map control support oversight. When enabled by the company, Supervisors and Remote Workers can change their ERP area from mobile. Privacy logs record views of Worker Details by supervisors and Be Safe Operators. These records support program reviews, incident investigations and audits.
