Dependent on wordpress and hence could be sluggish
Features might be fewer than the full-fledged forums

Quickly setup and run a multi-user forum using wordpress

Free and Easy to install
Great community and support
Widely used forum, which implies users might already be familiar with this
Lot of plugins to achieve specific tasks which are not a part of the default bundle

**What do you dislike about bbPress?**

Runs on PHP MySQL, which is not available in many free hostings (but still good)
Administering it on a busy server might be a bit challenging
Searching for solutions of uncommon problems is tedious

**What problems is bbPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly get a user-friendly forum up
Possible to also make it multi-site
Facilitates rich text interactions/ discussions within the communities/ groups

Ease of use and included integration with numerous themes.

**What do you dislike about bbPress?**

Can be a little time consuming when it comes to styling with some themes. But as many themes include integration, it's not a big deal.
