Backprompter Reviews & Product Details

Backprompter is an AI agent development platform for building, testing, deploying, managing and monetizing production-ready AI agents, with no backend code. It is built for developers, agencies and AI teams who need agents that behave reliably in front of real users. AI agents fail in ways traditional software doesn’t: hallucinations, unintended actions such as the wrong tool call, and regressions when a prompt or model changes. Backprompter catches these before release. Teams test every change with live conversations and simulated users, score results with custom evaluator agents, and apply suggested prompt fixes. The exact version that passes testing is the version that ships. Key capabilities - Build: plain-language agent design, multi-agent routing, RAG, web search, tool calling, voice, and any major LLM, with your own API keys if you prefer - Test: simulated users, live test conversations, custom evaluator agents, suggested prompt fixes, side-by-side version comparison and one-click rollback - Deploy: REST API and SDKs, a hosted chat UI with end-user login and per-user data, website embed, and Slack - Manage: every update is re-tested before release, so non-technical staff can safely maintain agents after handoff - Security: Backprompter cloud or fully air-gapped on-premises deployment, with zero data retention by model providers - Monetize: built-in Stripe payments to charge end users directly Backprompter works alongside AI coding tools and app builders: build your app anywhere, then call agents that Backprompter has tested and corrected
