**What do you like best about Azure Web App for Containers?**

Most helpful part of ms containers is user friendly ui. As a first time user it gives a quick start guide along with user accessibility option for new users.

Nothing specific. Some user friendly doc in Ms docs will be really helpful. Sometimes it's more high level.

With Azure container personally it helps me with release activity. Which is smooth.

  ### 3. Very easy to host Prod load on WebApp

It is just few clicks to run your docker image on WebApp and the most awesome feature is the blue-green deployment so it is giving flexibility to user to simply switch the stack via domain name after performing smoke test on prod.

The cost of the webApp is bit high and some time face the issue while updating the scaling policy.

  ### 4. Azure Serverless heading in right direction

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Web App for Containers?**

Azure's consumption plan featuring managed serverless containers for hosting web apps, container instances, function apps are very robust. Takes confusion out of the picture to allow you to focus on building great services. Azure Container Apps make the "craze" of Kubernetes & Docker deployments seem less enthralling because Azure serverless is simple and very effective.

**What do you dislike about Azure Web App for Containers?**

Still building out new features to these services. Some features are in preview at this time but as more and more developers adopt Azure Container Apps, it will continue to become more robust.

**What problems is Azure Web App for Containers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There have been some stability / reliability issues. When escalating to Microsoft Support, they were able to find logs that pointed to the issues at hand but those metrics & logs were very difficult to find. More visibility in this area would be great for the admin/SRE/developer when triaging issues.

**Reviewed by:** Martin P. | Cloud system manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Web App for Containers?**

I can describe it in 3 words - shared, secured, scalable. I love that with Azure Containers, you can easily share large files with your team while only paying for the storage you use.
Data is always safe while you're on the go, which was very important for me. The interface is very intuitive so that anyone can get up and running in minutes.

**What do you dislike about Azure Web App for Containers?**

Quite an expensive service for beginners, plus services are not available in some regions.

**What problems is Azure Web App for Containers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The previously mentioned unavailability of services in certain regions is a big problem for me.
However, using the Azure Web App for Containers makes my job easier.

  ### 9. Great Web App On The Planet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 👨🏽‍💻 Jacques M. | Volunteer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Web App for Containers?**

What I like the most about Azure is its support. They are always ready to answer the phone when you have a question. Others take a long time before answering your questions.

**What do you dislike about Azure Web App for Containers?**

Not really that much. I used Azure when I worked for my previous company. They always came through with the latest products and they are always happy to help their customers.

**What problems is Azure Web App for Containers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure helps local or international businesses store their data in a public cloud instead of having big physical servers locally. It is also secure and this is something a lot of businesses I starting to look into.

  ### 10. Azure Web App is a great and easy way to Containerize apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saifali K. | Professional Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

It allows me to use Customized Docker container images; I can quickly run them on the Azure App Service Platform, which is excellent. It is very easy and fast to create and deploy on server.

**What do you dislike about Azure Web App for Containers?**

Found nothing so far, very happy with the service.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Web App for Containers:**

The apps are easy to make and deploy on the server; I would highly recommend them to anybody.

**What problems is Azure Web App for Containers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to create, test and deploy customized docker images for my web applications. Also, deploying it on the Azure App Service Platform is excellent. Everything is in one place.

  ### 11. As easy as proclaimed, but azure itself is still chaotic.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Web App for Containers?**

If you "follow the manual" it's really easy to set up a new container, or re-use an existing (docker) container. It works almost just out-of-the-box-like. If you know your way around in azure, you have all the tools available to manage and monitor containers. There is not really anything else to say... containers are a well defined thing in IT, and azure handles it like a first citizen.

**What do you dislike about Azure Web App for Containers?**

It gets difficult if you need to expose a container only internally because now you're dependent on VPN and gateways within azure. It's not too complex per se, but every piece of functionality within azure seems "hidden", which keeps you searching for it over and over again. If azure is something you work in 100% of the day, every day of the year, this should be no problem. But I think that "knowing your way around" should not be the most difficult part of any learning curve. Even if you have no connections between your container and any other azure module, it's a search for "where the heck was it again". Every single time over and over again.

**What problems is Azure Web App for Containers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main function of using containers within our organization is to be able to have a well defined and easy to maintain boundary around some functionality. For instance, we use graylog as a logging server, but maintenance of graylog can be hard. It needs its dedicated unix server, and configuration is complex. A container makes it easier to update, make backup copies and define a working configuration that you can re-use. Normally the use of a container introduces just a new environment with its own complexities (a server that you need to maintain, monitoring, expertise etc). As such, those complexities can outweigh the goal that you like to achieve, which was reducing complexity. With azure you can eliminate the complexities of maintaining containers, which makes it suddenly a more viable option for a legion of other possible container candidates.

  ### 12. How azure web app for containers makes things easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Web App for Containers?**

I like how easy it is to share files between collegues/clients from different companies who may not have the same programs that your company does.

**What do you dislike about Azure Web App for Containers?**

I think that this program could make it easy to decifer what it is. I got an inviatation from a collegue, and has never heard of this app before, so I almost thought it was spam. I reached out to my collegue seperatly and she told me what it was.

**What problems is Azure Web App for Containers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems that I am solving include finding an easy way to share files without going back and forth not being to access other clients files because of company restrictions.

  ### 13. Deploy your containerized app in Seconds

**Reviewed by:** Mario B. | Senior Systems Engineer, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Azure Web App for Containers?**

The PaaS model, with no virtual machines, reduces the attack surface thus aids with compliance. Think PCI DSS for example.

**What do you dislike about Azure Web App for Containers?**

Some pricing tiers and the availability in some regions.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Web App for Containers:**

Implement your traditional web apps on the cloud, using a PaaS model, if you are familiar with web.config files, general IIS configuration, etc, this will be second nature to you.

**What problems is Azure Web App for Containers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance, once again PaaS simplifies it all.
