## Azure Event Hubs Reviews
  ### 1. Azure Event Hub - Collect your event

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag P. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

Azure Event hub internally uses Kafka as a service. You didn't have to create a consumer for consuming the event from your source.

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

A lot of things are hidden, so if you want a more flexible solution, then you have to write your function for the same.

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am collecting database CRUD events using Debezium and connect to azure even hub. Connect azure event hub to ELK stack in an azure virtual machine and analyze using logstash and show all CRUD logs in the dashboard and index it.

  ### 2. Azure Event Hubs-RS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rabish S. | Assistant Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

event bases application making and configuring

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

many things are hidden code and need more custom code written functionlity

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

event based all system centerlized

  ### 3. Easy to handle events for Azure platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

I have used Kafka for a long time, and migrating to Azure Event Hubs is really easy and stright forward. The concept is very similar and if you are deploying into Azure this is the way to go.

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

The persistence of the events is a little trickie when you need to persist events for more than one month. And of course, maybe is not the right tool if you are not using Azure cloud.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Event Hubs:**

I would recommend to make a simple try. It worth it.

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now we can easly integrate different microservices based on events and update our dashboards in a real time. Creating and Event oriented architecture is very useful for allowing the scalability of a big project with several servicies.

  ### 4. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

Azure Event Hubs is easy and stright to the point. If you are migrating from Kafka it's similar and Azure is a great choice for a different but still gives you the familiarity. I definitely recommend it for someone that is nervous about trying something different and unsure of venturing out.

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

I occasionally have to schedule events for at least a month out. That can be a little tricky at first. I also don't use Azure cloud so possibly if I used that it would be easier for me. So if you're like me then maybe this won't be your best option.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Event Hubs:**

Try it out and see how easy it is to use

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration has been made much easier. Our microservices have been simple to integrate based on various events and we also have the ability to do our updates our dashboards. We can do this in areal time. We have found that our larger projects are are easier using event oriented architecture and provides scalability because we can use different services.

It offers a free trial before you purchase it which is another advantage of using Event Hub.

What I like best is the fact I can stay organized all in one spot. Having multiple clients can become hectic, and this software decreases stress.

The one thing I do not like is that there is so much I need to learn, and it may take a bit of time.

Yes, I highly recommend Azure Events Hubs to keep your business organized.

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main business problem I have is not being organized and to many different programs open. The benefit is the fact that I can have assistants and everything I need in one place.

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

There is nothing I dislike about this software.

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to to get quick, accurate feedback that helps us stay on top of the Health Care industry. This software takes all the guess work out of analyzing data. Its fast pace just like us.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

Azure Event Hubs are very useful for working in a microservice environment that involve a lot of streaming data processing.

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

I find that the Microsoft Azure product stack on a whole is overpriced when compared to competitors.

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As said before, Event Hubs allows many events to be processed in near-real time, for example error streams from microservices running in production.

  ### 9. Great for streaming many events

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

You can use Capture, publish an event, and i really like the how to guides on the website because there are many features like using event hub for Apache. It's nice because you can buffer and store right on the spot quite easily.

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

Nothing really honestly. we are still new to using it but we are able to communicate and stream really easily here.

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

event streaming.

  ### 10. Horrible Organization

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

There is honestly nothing I like about this platform

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

Everything is difficult to navigate and really just a jumbled mess

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only saving grace is that I get reminders about events. However, that is not enough to rectify the other issues

  ### 11. Awesome Event Processing Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher P. | Scrum Master, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Azure Event Hubs?**

Can handle up to 2 million events a second. Very good for IOT data or streaming platform analytic data collection.

**What do you dislike about Azure Event Hubs?**

Wish it could handle more events per second but 2 million is very high.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Event Hubs:**

For high volume Event Hubs works great, for lower volume Event Grid, another Azure product, works well.

**What problems is Azure Event Hubs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our streaming platform will have thousands of users simultaneously active, creating thousands of events per second. Event hubs allows us to gather those events and parse them out to different databases based on the event. We can also batch send and process events.
