## About Axolo
Axolo is a bi-directional Slack & GitHub/GitLab integration. With Axolo, tech teams can collaborate on pull requests seamlessly. Each pull request creates a temporary Slack channel where all information (deployments, pull request checks, and code comments) will be shared. Axolo takes all of the normal back-and-forths on GitHub and Slack to centralize the conversation in ephemeral pull request channels. But this is only step 1! Features: 💭 An ephemeral Slack channel for each pull request: Axolo opens a Slack channel each time one of your collaborators opens a pull request. Only people that should be invited (reviewers & assignees) are invited. ⏰ PRs reminders: Set up Axolo to send daily reminders in stale PRs. 💻 A complete synch for code reviews: Each Github code review comment creates a new Slack thread. Then, the following comments from GitHub or Slack are sent to the other tool. 👀 High-level view on your team's PRs: With team-specific notifications, Axolo will send new pull request notifications in team channels and react upon the status of the PR (awaiting review, work in progress, mergeable, ...). 🤖 Approve pull requests with /lgtm: Developers can use /lgtm to approve a pull request directly in PR channels! 🏀 All your PRs are a command away: Ask /axolo open to show all open PR of your organization, /axolo me for your open PRs, and /axolo team [name of your team] to show all PRs from a specific team. 🕵️‍♂️ Organize your stand-ups with daily PR recap: You can set up Axolo to send daily PR recap to specific channels to organize your stand-ups. ⏳ Dedicated times for code review: Organize your time with code review time slots and let Axolo notify you only when you're available. Save your development sessions from distractions.

## Axolo Reviews
 ### 1. Increases Engagement on PRs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark Z. | VP of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Axolo?**

Integration with PR activities into slack keeps them front and center, decreasing the time from opening to merging.

**What do you dislike about Axolo?**

It can be noisy,I personally have muted the main #_axolo channel as it was too distracting. It is also bit pricey, especially for an early stage company or team.

**What problems is Axolo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slack is where all of our team's communication happens, so having PR communications also in Slack just saves time. Its now much harder to miss or ignore interactions on PRs.

 ### 2. Happy Axolo customer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler R. | Co-founder and CTO

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Axolo?**

Time from pull request open to review to merge is WAY faster, and engagement with reviews is much higher for our team. Axolo's team is also unbelievably fast resolving issues when we run into them. Pleasure to work with them.

**What do you dislike about Axolo?**

Standard startup product stuff -- it breaks from time to time, the product can be rough around the edges, etc... Our productivity basically falls back to how it was before we had the product when this happens though, so we haven't really experienced any downside in using Axolo.

**What problems is Axolo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Axolo helps us get better engagement with pull request reviews and makes them happen faster. Code quality has improved, engineers have better understanding of what their colleagues are working on, and code is getting shipped much faster.

**What do you dislike about Axolo?**

At times it gets a bit noisy on Slack if there are too many open PRs.

Before Axolo, we had to consistently check Github about updates in PRs.

**Reviewed by:** Paweł T. | Chief Technology Officer

**What do you like best about Axolo?**

My team can discuss pull requests without leaving Slack now. Axolo helped us merge pull requests faster in a more seamless way. I was waiting for this product for so long!

**What do you dislike about Axolo?**

Sometimes there are too many Slack channels for opened pull requests but it's not Axolo's fault at all.

**What problems is Axolo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brings pull requests to Slack and lets us communicate better.

 ### 6. Amazing tool that helps to reduce context-switching

The settings panel on the website is missing some features, but I was able to resolve them using support chat.

Having to constantly switch between Slack and GitHub to interact with pull requests and provide/receive feedback on them.
