AWS Beanstalk is named after the beanstalk of fairy tales that grows up to the clouds. It is an orchestration tool, specifically for AWS Services such as EC2, S3, and SNS, Cloudwatch, and Elastic Load Balancers. It basically adds an extra abstraction layer between the server and OS (operating system), which makes it easy to deploy and manage apps on AWS. This makes it easy to deploy and scale web applications and services.
