𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 AWS Connect moves your files from being scattered throughout multiple records and therefore taking up valuable Salesforce storage to being stored securely in S3. You can upload, view, sync, and retrieve all of your files via a custom-built interface, without jumping back and forth between systems to handle your daily document management needs. 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀, 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 By storing your files on Amazon S3, you reduce your Salesforce data & file storage costs. Behind the scenes, AWS Connect relies on Apex batch processing and asynchronous operations, so uploads, syncs, migrations of large file sets happen seamlessly without locking records or slowing down the user interface, even when dealing with millions of files. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 AWS Connect enables bidirectional synchronization, which means files may flow from either Salesforce or S3 back-and-forth while maintaining consistency within each platform. Besides, it protects against data loss as files stored in S3 can be restored back into Salesforce. Synchronization utilities help recover files that go missing, with metadata mappings keeping everything correctly linked to its original record.   • Restore files from AWS S3 back into Salesforce on demand   • Re-sync missing or incomplete files automatically   • Maintain record associations through metadata mapping 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 Access to uploaded files occurs through signed, timed-out URLs, so sensitive information is never made available through an open link. Access itself is governed by Salesforce profiles, roles, and permission sets, and every upload, deletion, sync, and migration is logged for monitoring and audit purposes.
