What I like most about AWS Backup is that it offers a single, centralized way to manage backups across multiple AWS resources. Rather than setting up backup policies separately for each service, we can create backup plans with schedules, lifecycle policies, and retention rules all in one place.
It also supports backup vaults, encryption with AWS KMS, cross-region backups, cross-account backup copies, and automated compliance reporting. Together, these capabilities make it a strong fit for enterprise environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While AWS Backup simplifies backup management, restoring large datasets or cross-region backups can take time depending on the workload. Some advanced recovery scenarios still require service-specific knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
