ecotect is a very robust software that can analyze so many aspects of a building. i love that it can analyze wind, weather, energy, water, etc. I love every aspect of it. if only everyone in the ae industry were using it, we would have more efficient infrastructures and buildings. Visually easy to use and understand, and does exactly what you need to. I used it a lot for urban design projects in early stages to help determine the design, and found that it was easy to use after noodling around with it for a while. There's a learning curve when you first use it, and definitely need to do a few trial and errors before getting the hang of it. The interface isn't the most easy to use but it isn't difficult to figure out. I also found it was best when I went in knowing what info I wanted to get from it.
