Our Librista mobile app is free and available for download for iOS and Android devices. Patrons can easily access their ebooks and magazines from e-content providers like OverDrive and Hoopla. Additionally, we have developed a separate app called Librista Check-It that allows patrons to perform self-checkouts. While this app is currently separate, we plan to merge it into a single app in the future. It is also easy to get an email answered quickly. **What do you dislike about Atriuum ILS?** The acquisitions module is a little complicated for a smaller library. **Recommendations to others considering Atriuum ILS:** I've used Book Systems products in other libraries since the 1990s, and I know the company is reliable and can be trusted to have your interests in mind. They will not sell you things that you don't need. You can contact them if there are issues or other things that you don't understand. **What problems is Atriuum ILS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had five different web pages I had to monitor with the library's previous ILS; now, only two: the librarian's desktop and the OPAC, making oversight of the ILS more manageable. The library's reports are much easier to access, and I can save new ones that I created to use again. I can schedule them to be sent to the proper staff daily, weekly, or monthly as needed. The statistical reports save me time when I send the library's annual statistics to the state library. All this came with a lower price tag unless I decide to add a module. We added the authority module which has helped us clean up the cataloging records. The holdings summary is probably what I like the best and is one of the things that sold me on the product during the demonstration. I can see what materials the library has almost instantly, which comes in handy for auditors and insurance agents. When I speak to a civic group, I usually bring up this report and tell them how much money they have invested in the library collection. ### 3. Atriuum is very easy to use and is quickly taught to new staff. I particularly like the fact that it is cloud-based so if help is needed, the system can be accessed from anywhere to provide that help. The video tutorials are excellent. **What do you dislike about Atriuum ILS?** Sometimes report generation can be a bit confusing but this is probably due to how flexible the reporting system is. **What problems is Atriuum ILS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Made collection of information for the annual state report much easier. ### 4. It is evident in their response time and willingness to go above and beyond. There is a comprehensive database of helpful tutorials to assist in navigating the system. In addition, the team at Atriuum is receptive to ideas from libraries about ways of improving the system. A web-based product has allowed us to go beyond the library walls and provide needed outreach services to our community. It has all the capabilities that our patrons need and want. The developers are very responsive to adding features as needs arise and are happy to answer any questions that might come up. **What do you dislike about Atriuum ILS?** We have yet to discover a downside. Atriuum fits all of our needs. **Recommendations to others considering Atriuum ILS:** If you are looking for a robust ILS that measures up in today's fast-paced environment, Atriuum is for you. It has all the capabilities of much more expensive systems without sacrificing quality. **What problems is Atriuum ILS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can reach our patrons through text or email about their materials that are due, reserves that are ready for pickup, or items on their watchlists. This saves staff time that previously was spent on the phone. During the pandemic, it was great PR for us to issue library cards for our digital services through the online catalog. Patrons love the Librista app because it is so easy to check their accounts, reserve and renew items. ### 6. Tech support is quick when needed, and our rep stays in contact with us regularly. I have used other systems that were more costly, and Atriuum is a strong competitor. What is really great about their company is that they use feedback and questions to continue to improve their product. **What do you dislike about Atriuum ILS?** Although you can run pretty much any report you need and can customize it to specific data, it can be a little tricky if you don't know what you are doing. **What problems is Atriuum ILS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Atriuum is much more user-friendly for our staff. Our patrons have great options for home use, such as Paypal for online payments in real-time, the Check It app for mobile checkout, and the Librista app for OPAC and account management. ### 8.
