If you are looking for capabilities with email templates to confirm payments or remind people of upcoming events they purchased, there are some gaps you may want to review. **What problems is Association Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tracking members and collecting data to manage a history of the relationship ### 2. This has made it easy for us to build a strong relationship where we can trust and be comfortable working with them. I also like that they partner with us by continually looking to help our organization find better ways to get more out of and fully utilize the platform. **What do you dislike about Association Anywhere?** While the team at ACGI displays a positive attitude and a desire to help us out, sometimes it takes more than one interaction with customer support to resolve an issue. **What problems is Association Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** The system from ACGI is flexible enough that we can develop solutions to address our unique needs. The power of the software is such that we can customize or modify it to do whatever is needed. That provides tremendous strategic value to our organization. ### 3. They try to see things from the client's perspective. They have nurtured a collaborative and empathetic environment and will rely on various team members' strengths and skills. With customer support, tickets are not going to some generic support team but to people who know me and my organization. **What do you dislike about Association Anywhere?** Their planning process means that only emergencies (system down, something affecting collecting revenue) are handled RIGHT NOW. Otherwise, you will have to wait for their teams to estimate and schedule the work. It makes sense that they would need to follow a process to get things done effectively, but you don't get that immediate satisfaction when you want a change. **Recommendations to others considering Association Anywhere:** If the process of changing to a new AMS is daunting - try using a consultant. **What problems is Association Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** There's already a lot of functionality in the system. If we're looking to do something, it's most likely already in the software. We also have the option to go to a third party solution to get something going quickly. There's really unlimited potential. I like that ACGI will dissuade clients from customizations that won't yield a return on investment. You don't see that as a general rule from technology companies. ### 4. They've designed it so that it's easy to find information quickly. **What do you dislike about Association Anywhere?** I wish it was possible, but no tool is going to align perfectly with our needs at the cost we can afford. Our business model is very complex and also ever-changing, so it can be expensive to alter or add functionality to our systems. **What problems is Association Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** Because ACGI really listens to our challenges, they were able to automate one of our processes that had taken days to complete manually. This has enabled us to grow chapter memberships at the rate of 14%. I feel like ACGI is a partner that is invested in and committed to our success. They're not just selling us a solution. ### 5. This is true on both the side of the staff in the back office and for our members with regard to their online experience. As a company, I like that ACGI principals and senior management make themselves accessible. **What do you dislike about Association Anywhere?** I used to dislike the UX of the product but their last upgrade took care of the issues we were having. **Recommendations to others considering Association Anywhere:** No AMS system is going to perfect or meet all of your needs but we found ACGI was able to meet most and provide solid timing and costs for customizations when needed. **What problems is Association Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** We like that the system is meeting most of our business needs with out-of-the-box technology. Even though the system is flexible to change when needed, we haven't had to do a lot of customizations. ACGI looks to the future and adapts their technology. ### 6. It allows our members to pay their dues in a convenient, instant way. It's an extremely broad platform that we use in about a million different ways in every aspect of our daily nonprofit management activities. AA is it! **What do you dislike about Association Anywhere?** It's very bare-bones, and the user interface is a little clunky and dated. Our customers often have trouble understanding the program. When they're required to log in and update their own programs, they're often confused and lost. It could be a bit more colorful and more dynamic. **Recommendations to others considering Association Anywhere:** I'd strongly recommend this product to anyone in the nonprofit management, professional association, or general membership fields. It's the gold standard for organizing, maintaining memberships, and hosting events. **What problems is Association Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's difficult to manage so many employees and members, and this gives us one platform in which we can do our work. When we plan our yearly conference AA allows us to streamline the registration, invoicing, and planning efforts. It's brought out planning efforts in the 21st century. ### 7. It also utilizes a cloud based system, so storage/accessing data is never an issue. There are lots of options for where to place different aspects of your business such as advertising billing, member/client information, sales and much more. It also allows several users to be on the same account. **What do you dislike about Association Anywhere?** The overall design/layout of the website is a little outdated. There are also a lot of unnecessary options that take up a lot of space, yet don't really do much for our organization. Must be semi tech savvy to use. **Recommendations to others considering Association Anywhere:** Try to access a demo so that you can see if it is right for you. Navigation can take a tiny bit of time to learn, so be patient and take up their offer for training. **What problems is Association Anywhere solving and how is that benefiting you?** Member organization and security for their payment information is a big issue that Association has helped us solve.
