  ### 1. Arista EOS Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anil N. | Network Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Arista EOS?**

What I really like about Arista EOS is how easy it is to use. The commands are simple and familiar, and it’s very efficient for managing network configurations. It’s also highly reliable and fast, with great support for automation, which helps reduce manual work. Plus, its flexibility to integrate with different tools and environments is a big advantage

**What do you dislike about Arista EOS?**

One thing I find challenging about Arista EOS is that it can have a bit of a learning curve for those who are new to it, especially if they’re coming from a different platform. Additionally, some advanced features may require more detailed documentation or support to fully understand how to implement them effectively

**What problems is Arista EOS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Arista EOS is helping us tackle the complexity of managing our network by offering a platform that's both flexible and scalable. With its automation capabilities, we’re able to reduce the amount of manual work required, which cuts down on mistakes and saves us time. It also provides better visibility into what's happening in the network, so we can spot and fix issues faster. Overall, it’s made our network more reliable and our operations more efficient, allowing us to focus on bigger priorities

  ### 2. Sustaining a large data center network

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amir A. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Arista EOS?**

I have to say that Arista EOS is extremely scalable. EOS help to provision and manage a large data center network with hundreds of thousands of nodes, making the task much easier. It freed our team from the countless hours on the mundane switch configurations.

**What do you dislike about Arista EOS?**

It is not good at the simple automation of network tasks, the scripting capabilities seemed somewhat restricted for large configuration updates. In more complex work scenarios or special topologies, I had to configure the switches manually with the help of the CLI, which potentially lead to mistakes.

**What problems is Arista EOS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Arista EOS is designed for large scale cloud network management by automating the configuration and deployment of switches. This at first did increase our teams productivity. This led to spending more time on configuration on complex tasks that tended to offset some of the gains that were accrued at the beginning.

  ### 3. Networks and minimization of manual work tremendously

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Project Strategy Director, Government Administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Arista EOS?**

I found it effective in automating some process and in integration with the other tools I am using. The strong suit of Arista EOS is definitely its programmability. This has helped in minimizing the manual effort in handling the network and in addition managing the network efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Arista EOS?**

I have faced diffiulty when organizing a growing network. As we’ve extended google with compute and storage nodes, runtime provisioning and configuration have become contradictory. I don’t get the impression that large scale deployments are dealt with in the way that the algorithm suggests.

**What problems is Arista EOS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Arista EOS was designed for integrating and automating multiple network tasks and its integration with other tools. This has relieved my team from additional work and minimized possible human mistake when configuring changes.

  ### 4. Automation with consistent management interface

**What do you like best about Arista EOS?**

The switch has made it easier in the configuration and monitoring especially for large networks with different hardware. It is also worthy to note that the programmability of EOS enables me to automate some operation on the network.

**What do you dislike about Arista EOS?**

In cases of extended network issues or detailed performance analysis, I might have to resort to using third-party applications. Missed snapshots within EOS reduce the possibility of quickly and easily understanding the health of the network.

**What problems is Arista EOS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Arista EOS is a well-proven,stable and efficient network operating system for complex large-scale data centers. The single OS and automation capabilities cut down on configuration mistakes, and simplify the working of the units.
