Arcgis is a programme that requires a quality of computer and repowering, in the same way autocad needs a team with good tools to use the maximum of its capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Arcgis is the bussiness friendly platform where work gets a heavy flow with excessive support technical as well as manual 24×7 customer as well as strategic support..
Arcgis has well defined corner of support, training, consultancy and cloud management..
With standard level of consultancy support and training project get chances of implement high technology to make short term consultancy projects to high transformational projects and focussed bussiness.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Arcgis as a complement to autocad because it offers the possibility of using the services of images and services of stored functions by arcgis, provided image maps, and sources of elements in online arcgis. contains a varied property of drawing file that allows to incorporate, edit and share in the arcgis system. It contains a framework recognized and accepted by professionals, for the information of the data.
I like it because Arcgis gives autocad the possibility of linking geographical and territorial activities, so the use of ArcGis is very useful for the design of plans and objects in three dimensions for work and studies purposes.
I also like arcgis for autocad that provides an excellent visual, contains tool for management, editing, calculation, analysis of entities and georeferenced attributes.
Another very useful aspect for autocad is the variety of ArcCatalog, which offers the option to link with other work servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
arcgis is a program that requires a quality computer and repowering, in the same way autocad needs a team with good tools to use to the maximum of its capabilities. consequently, if you have an excellent computer re-powered autocad or arcgis work properly.
It is common that in the process of converting arcgis to autocad the images move which require the detailed revision to guarantee that all the information is correctly, being then a risks that we run when we work separately the information in the two programs. Automated conversion of AutoCAD data to ArcGIS data that can be used as features and layers in a GIS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Gotcha: "Leaky rectangles". If corners of manually created rectangles have the slightest of gaps, the converter does not interpret the object as a rectangle. Instead it sees it as vectors at right angles. Requires manually extending those vectors until they actually touch at the corners. Time consuming. But I realize this is human error on the AutoCAD side, just should somehow be intelligent enough to be "forgiving" for a couple pixels at least. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ArcGIS is the first mapping software to use for professional mapping. The package comes with ArcCatalog, which is great for organizing files. There are many ways to use the software, if you can learn how the functions work together. Everything is referenced on a coordinate system, which means everything you do is fundamentally related to the real world. The raster uses and analyzes are high-level as well. ArcGIS is extremely user-friendly and the possibility of doing so many tasks, from vectorizing a geographic chart to working statistics in thematic maps, excellent as a tool for planning a specific territory. The major issue that I've run into is the crashing program. I deal with big data on relatively new machines and despite their power, it can be pretty easy to overpower them. While it is easy to get the hang of what the software will or will not be able to handle, it would be nicer to have a program which draws less processing power. The image processing module does not seem to complete, I think it is necessary to develop it more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like this program since it makes it easy to upload aerials into other AutoCAD files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the program is slow but that may have to do with all the processing it does and my computer may be not as fast as it needs to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can easily pull up a map of the entire state in AutoCAD to aid in project design. Very high resolution and simple/quick process to retrieve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use gis maps in the form of image services and feature services stored by arcgis. you get maps imagen, and element sources in arcgis online. it has a large property of drawing file that allows to incorporate, edit and share in the arcgis system. It provides a framework, commonly accepted, for the information of the data. to be used in a large variety. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
at some point in the process of uploading ArcGIS maps to autocad, the images move, for this reason i recommend reviewing the information very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can open large format files and GIS sets that contain huge amounts of data without my computer slowing down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It could be a bit more responsive at opening a string of .gis files that contain images and reference documents/attachments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
