ARCAD BUILDER Reviews & Product Details

ARCAD Builder is an automated build management solution for IBM i applications, designed to streamline compilation and support Continuous Integration (CI). Using application dependency knowledge, ARCAD Builder automatically identifies and recompiles precisely the components impacted by a code change. It manages dependencies through a centralized metadata repository and sequences the recompilations required to produce a consistent application build. ARCAD Builder automates the entire IBM i build process, including compilation commands, pre- and post-compilation processes, object administration tasks, and data transfers to new database structures. Executable code is recreated without manual intervention while preserving existing rights, properties, and attributes. Accessible directly from RDi and VS Code, ARCAD Builder helps development teams reduce manual effort and compilation errors, accelerate application builds, and integrate IBM i development into modern CI/CD pipelines.
