"Intuitive, Fast, and Customizable—Tech Pack Handover in Hours, Not Days"

What do you like best about Aptean Apparel PLM?

Ease of use: The interface is intuitive, so new team members can get up to speed quickly and spend less time hunting for things.

Tech pack handover: This has saved us multiple days of prep work. Exporting tech packs and emailing them to vendors is quick and simple, and it has cut tech pack prep from 3 days to a few hours, so we can get styles into production sooner.

Search: The search function is fast and easy, which matters when you're managing a large number of styles, materials, and vendors across seasons.

Reporting: Pulling reports is simple. I can get the information I need without a lot of workarounds.

Customization: It's easy to configure the system to fit how our company actually works, rather than forcing our process to fit the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aptean Apparel PLM?

The one thing I'd like to see is even more flexibility in customization. Aptean already does this better than other systems I've used, so I'd love to see the options go further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Aptean Apparel PLM solving and how is that benefiting you?

For me, the biggest benefit is visibility and scalability. With hundreds of SKUs across multiple categories and seasons, I need to be able to quickly understand where we are, where the risks are, and where the team needs support without spending hours pulling information together manually.

It is also helping us standardize how we work. Instead of product development living in individual people’s files or processes, we are building a more consistent workflow that improves accountability, reduces errors, and makes it easier to scale the organization.

"Customizable Yet Challenging Integration"

What do you like best about Aptean Apparel PLM?

I like Aptean Apparel PLM for its ease of integration, which is particularly beneficial once we push to ERP. The system has helped us get tech packs in a good place and has been instrumental in helping keep us accountable. Despite some aspects being a work in progress, I love the ease and customization options, even though it can be challenging to know what features are needed out of the box. What do you dislike about Aptean Apparel PLM?

Aptean Apparel PLM has a few areas that could use improvement. The integration to ERP and handling BOMs for different prices per color still have a ways to go. The lack of ability to easily mass update Cost Sheets is a drawback, and importing HS codes can be confusing. I would also like more tables to feed into the overview and improve the import process for a smoother final push to ERP. It would be great if lab dips could be added directly in BOMs without waiting for colors to be assorted, and if the software better supported different cost colors and lab dips in Cost Sheets and BOMs. The customization options are extensive but also overwhelming since it’s hard to know which features you need out of the box. Aptean Apparel PLM helps us get tech packs organized and keeps accountability. It simplifies integration to ERP despite needing improvements in BOM handling, and lets us create better overviews with cost sheets. The intuitive navigation, organization and customization make daily workflow feel highly accessible. Building and tracking styles through seasonal approval status is very fluid, making it easy to work across teams to stay current on assortments.
