  ### 4. This is the time saver you’ve been looking for!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Pay?**

We are early adopters of Applied Pay because it provides so many time saving mechanisms to our servicing team. From payment links to premium financing to autopay… we’re incorporating these things right away to relieve the follow up burden on payments from insureds.

**What do you dislike about Applied Pay?**

Still a few bugs since we’re early adopters.

**What problems is Applied Pay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to chase after insureds for money and waiting for checks to arrive.

  ### 5. Easy to use for both agencies and clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie D. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Applied Pay?**

Our favorite thing is that we can include a link to the payment platform on our invoices. Aside from that, it's extremely easy for us and for clients to use. Implementation was very simple and seamless for us on the agency end. We can't review Customer Support as we haven't needed it, primarily due to the comprehensive information we were provided during the implemental process. Probably 50% of our clients have used the Applied Pay link on our invoices and we've gotten zero complaints. Clients also like the ease of using either bank electronic transfer or credit cards for payments. We chose not to pass on the $4 service charge for electronic payments, which has made the electronic payment option free of additional costs for our clients. All Applied Pay functions are handled by our Accounting Department so it was simple for our Service personnel to integrate into their process - all they do differently is point out the link on our invoices.

**What do you dislike about Applied Pay?**

The only thing that's not a positive is that client payments don't hit our bank account immediately. They have to be processed through applied first, so there's a banking delay of one or two days. Not a big deal for us though.

**What problems is Applied Pay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of payments for both clients and for us.

  ### 6. Applied Pay makes Payments Easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Candace A. | Sr. Account Manager / Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Applied Pay?**

It's very easy to use on both the agent and client side. you can even create a formatted email to sending to clients with the payment link.

**What do you dislike about Applied Pay?**

When you first get started large payments have to be verified, which isn't too difficult just a little inconvenient.

**What problems is Applied Pay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made collecting payments from client much easier and faster.

  ### 7. OK, but could use improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna L. | Controller, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Applied Pay?**

It generates an activity as a notice and an e-mail

**What do you dislike about Applied Pay?**

It lets payments go through without a customer number or a name that matches our customer in the system. These payment do not create a transaction, so I have to manually add them. Also on downpayments I have to manually go back in and apple drs to credits. So the system is not really streamlined. I'd say on 80% of the applied pay transactions, I have to apply the drs to crs.

**What problems is Applied Pay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this point can't say that it is benefiting me.

  ### 8. Best Addition to EPIC

**What do you dislike about Applied Pay?**

There's not much to dislike about Applied Pay.

**What problems is Applied Pay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us avoid waiting for people to mail check to us and potentially getting lost in the mail.
