Epic Payments (formerly Applied Pay) is part of Applied Epic®. A check takes six business days, a card payment lands in a processor's report, and either way someone keys it in by hand. Collect premium however the client wants to pay it. Your client pays by card, ACH, or digital wallet. The money reaches the account the moment it clears, with nothing left to key in. Key features: • Integrated lockbox: Paper checks are routed to Applied's lockbox processing centers, digitized, and matched to the client account, typically within one business day. • Branch and trust account setup: Merchant accounts group by branch, deposits follow your banking structure, and trust accounts stay separate. • Payment portal and reporting: Payments, settlement status, payout details and exceptions sit in one view, with reports exportable for audit. • Financing before the policy exists: Financing can be offered for several quotes at once, and whichever the client picks and pays for becomes the policy.
