This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate. **Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025 **What do you like best about AppDirect?** Nothing - There platform is cumbersome to use and not at all beneficial or efficient. **What do you dislike about AppDirect?** AppDirect will cheat you out of every dime that they are suppose to pay. They misappropriate funds and then refuse to resolve the issues. I was suppose to receive commissions from one source, Panterra, I never received those funds. AppDirect errantly paid me for an account that was not mine and when I attempted to resolve that issue, I was told, "don't worry about it." I informed them that I did not want this to comeback on me, but it did and the took back more than they paid, leaving me in a negative situation according to them. They did this multiple times and I have never received the commissions and spiffs that are due me, thanks to their lack of integrity. If you are wise, you will stay far away from them and PanTerra. **What problems is AppDirect solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppDirect refuses to resolve problems. They cannot even produce consistent documentation to support their position. ### 3. I consider them a good option for a software marketplace. The ability to drag and drop images and content does not exist. Cheaper, less expensive solutions offer more features. The platform is also a cache resource hog, and doesn't update as frequently as it should. **What problems is AppDirect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wanted a platform to build an app marketplace, but this one did not solve our problem, and only created more problems. ### 5. So you can receive data analytics, that's the reason why you will use this software. **What do you dislike about AppDirect?** The software is very easy to use but not useful for every company. It could be useful for bigger companies than the one we have used to. With 4 employees. **What problems is AppDirect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I didn't solve any extra with this software. Some free software will be even helpful for us. So that's why I wrote on the dislike, it will be useful for companies with 30-40 or more employees. ### 11. The product has a lot of capabilities but the UI is clean. **What do you dislike about AppDirect?** The platform sometimes lags. Data visualization could be improved. Other providers have better reporting. **What problems is AppDirect solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Appdirect I am able to create a marketplace and reach more consumers easily.
