**What do you like best about Apache Traffic Server?**

What I like best about Apache Traffic Server is its high performance, scalability, and reliability for handling heavy web traffic. It offers strong caching capabilities, helps reduce server load, and is highly configurable for advanced traffic management needs.

**What do you dislike about Apache Traffic Server?**

What I dislike about Apache Traffic Server is that the initial setup and configuration can be complicated for new users, and the documentation can sometimes feel overwhelming. Overall, the learning curve is fairly steep compared to some simpler alternatives, which can make it harder to get started.

**What problems is Apache Traffic Server solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apache Traffic Server helps solve problems related to managing high volumes of web traffic, improving load times, and reducing strain on origin servers through caching. Also, it comes with regular expression matching to match any URL with the pattern. But not least the more excellent caching feature

**What do you like best about Apache Traffic Server?**

The fact that it is an opensource project under the Apache umbrella. Call me old school, but I'm a die hard fan of apache projects, and I think I'm not the only one. So basically first would be the support that it receives. Then I can see it easy to integrate with Java applications

**What do you dislike about Apache Traffic Server?**

Nothing so far. I've used it in several implementations to hide Spring Boot microservices under it, and was capable enough to handle heavy loads, as well as configuring rate limiting features.

**Recommendations to others considering Apache Traffic Server:**

Try to allocate some time & resources for the learning curve, as it is a bit steep

**What problems is Apache Traffic Server solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't want to expose our Spring boot microservices to be hit directly by mobile & web clients, so we wanted to put something in the middle, as well as having rate limit features.
