SCADE Suite is a product line in the ANSYS embedded software family that provides you with a model-based development environment for critical embedded software. With native integration of the formally defined Scade language, SCADE Suite is the integrated design environment for critical applications including requirements management, model-based design, simulation, verification, qualifiable/certified code generation and interoperability with other development tools and platforms.

We expected the tool to have some more capabilities in terms of software lifecycle and configuration management

It might be good to have at least some knowledge in model-based software development

software development from model-based designs. Many benefits over standard hand-code developments in terms of easy to understand and maintain.

It's certified code generation tool makes it preferable for safety critical avionics software design.

**What do you dislike about Ansys SCADE Suite?**

Simulation capabilities are very limited comparing to the other tools in the market.

**Recommendations to others considering Ansys SCADE Suite:**

You can integrate it easily with Doors or Reqtify requirement management tools.

**What problems is Ansys SCADE Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since it proves that the generated code does not have any mutations from the model, we skip the code reviewing and model to code tracing process which takes a lot of man/time in aviation software industry.
