Qualified.io provides a seamless way to conduct and take technical assessments. The coding challenges are interactive, well-structured, and provide a good representation of real-world scenarios. The platform's interface is intuitive and responsive, enhancing the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the platform is effective, clearer instructions or scoring criteria would be helpful for candidates. Additionally, some challenges could benefit from more detailed feedback post-assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are platforms that provide experiences that result in assesment applications harder than they genuinely are or should be.
This is not the case with Qualified.io
I appreciated the ease of interaction from the UI, clear walkthrough of every feature available and customization available even for applicants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do believe some users could benefit from different High Contrast settings and/or fonts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like the most is the way that the challenge is written as could close to a real life scenario Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like the idea of have a timer for each challenge so my recommendation will be to leave just the 24h timer and not a timer for each challenge Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The features presented in Qualified.io is great to use. I recently had an assessment for a Front-end Role coding.
From introductory prep guides to the challenges and instructions which were well prepared. I had a great time doing the assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've had a problem while taking the assessment when I accidentally hit a back feature -- my fault though -- which results to me consuming time in parallel to my assessment challenges. I hope it could be prevented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use interface and UI. Very user friendly, easy to use straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dark mode is not available. Bright white interface is not comfortable for eyes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Unit Test verification immediately validates whether your logic works or not

1 . The test Expiry period is 3 days which seems less Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The question/work scenario were really practical and felt like I was actually communicating with the team mates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I will not say that I disliked anything. It is just that if we have an option where we have an option mentioned in bold or italics regarding attachment like "Drag and Drop/ Attach Here" in bold. That will be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoyed doing the three tests my prospective employer provided to Qualified.io. The platform is extremely clean, intuitive, and easy to use. The automated system also sent emails to remind me of the test, and it seemed like the customer support team was very engaged and willing to help with any user issues that might arise.
Overall, I thought this was a really great testing platform, and a much better evaluation of how a prospective employee would perform in a real work scenario. The integrated IDE worked well, including debugging tools. The instructions were clear. It was easy to navigate from instructions to output and code panels. The timing was clear on the top of the page. Feedback was given immediately to users to let them know whether their submission was ready to be scored.
It's clear the team also cares a lot about iteratively improving their product, and collected feedback in a thoughtful way.
I look forward to using this form of evaluation again in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The display was a little bit wonky on my browser (Chrome, MacOS Monterey 12.4). The borders of the application were cut off, and I needed to side-scroll a little in order to see the edges of the view. The content inside of certain panels, like the Instruction panel, also overflowed and required some side-scrolling. It seems like it would have been good to integrate autoflow here for better viewing experience.
One thing I would have appreciated was a small test run before the actual exam, with a Intro.js - style guide for the interface. I like how certain platforms like Codio give you a few test toy problems to practice with before going into the actual exam for your prospective employer. This would have helped me in my first exam question, where I stumbled a little with trying to figure out how to run my code. While the team included helpful documentation for using the IDE, it was a little stressful trying to browse these docs during my actual exam. Prior to the exam, I did take a look at the docs, but not seeing the platform in front of me, I was not able to fully anticipate the kinds of issues I might face using the platform. It would have just been great to be able to have a short test run with a visual/interactive guide/use case.
Overall, I really liked Qualified.io and appreciate the team for their well-documented and thorough/thoughtful product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The idea of testing things which an Engineer does in his day to day compared to other tests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing as such. Since it contains a coding question as well it covers a little about the data structures and algorithms aspect of it also. But may be a separate section for DataStructures and Algorithms as such could be beneficial as they form a fundamental aspect of an Engineer's work as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
