## Amplenote Reviews
  ### 1. Reliable, Integrated, and Designed for Deep Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio Carlos L. | Salzburg Global Fellow, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

What I like best about Amplenote is that it truly unifies the core elements of my work: note-taking, task management, and long-term knowledge organization. I appreciate how I can develop ideas in rich, flexible notes and immediately turn them into concrete tasks, all within the same environment. The combination of backlinks, tags, and powerful search allows me to build a personal knowledge base that remains coherent and easy to navigate over time. The task system, especially the prioritization and time-blocking features, helps me move consistently from planning to execution. As a result, Amplenote has become the central hub of my academic and professional workflow.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

What I find least helpful in Amplenote is the current state of plugin integration. Although the platform offers powerful possibilities, the setup process is not always intuitive, and configuring plugins often requires more trial and error than expected. In addition, not all plugins work consistently or integrate smoothly into day-to-day workflows. As a result, extending Amplenote’s functionality beyond its core features can feel more complicated than it should, especially for users who rely on seamless, dependable tools.

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the central problem of keeping ideas, tasks, and long-term projects connected in a single, reliable system. Instead of scattering notes across multiple apps and losing track of next steps, I can capture information, organize it, and immediately convert it into actionable tasks without breaking my workflow. The platform also addresses the challenge of maintaining a coherent personal knowledge base through backlinks and structured tagging, The service reduces friction, improves focus, and supports a much more consistent and organized academic and professional routine.

  ### 2. The best note taking / task manager / calendar app that will suit the needs of everybody

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayan S. | Postal Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

The best thing about Amplenote in my view is in line tasks that I can add to any note anywhere and they still show up in a separate task management part too. The fact that I can also drag and drop those tasks to a separate calendar view without creating new duplicate items. One more thing I definitely like is the ability to link tasks and hide specific tasks unless some other task is completed. A definite game changer for me.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

The main complaint about Amplenote is their design language. While the design is lightweight and simple for fast loading, it still feels very ugly and can definitely be improved even when keeping it light weight. While not a deal breaker one more thing I dislike is that, tasks has to live inside a note. There can be no tasks independent of a note, even in the separate task manager view.

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have tried a lot of notes/task manager apps. While some are nice. they are very very expensive. Some are only online with terrible load times. However, what I felt was that most apps offer too much. Manage your business, teams, etc etc. I am a simple guy trying to find an app for my personal note taking, task management and calendar to maintain my own routine. I don't run any online or offline business so I do not need much, but before Amplenote, I found no other app that was enough for my use case but not too much like Notion.
Amplenote combines all the essentials like note taking, task management (including in line tasks inside notes) and calendar all in one without offering useless extra features for like managing a business that will make your life feel useless.
It is one the best apps for regular users who lead regular lives and does have 4 businesses and 5 teams to manage. (though you will be able to do that in Amplenote too. It allows different spaces for work, personal in calendars and tasks, as well as collaboration for teams).

  ### 3. Streamlined Task Management and Note-Taking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dash .

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

I love how Amplenote effectively combines note-taking with task management, allowing me to handle everything in one place without switching between apps. The ability to jot down ideas, turn them into tasks, and track deadlines without losing context is incredibly efficient. Additionally, the feature to link notes together is particularly beneficial for my studies and projects, keeping everything connected and accessible for easy review. I also find that the task management and calendar features significantly enhance my productivity, making scheduling and prioritization straightforward. This seamless integration of features into a simple and straightforward interface truly enhances my workflow. Moreover, I find the initial setup of Amplenote incredibly user-friendly, rating it a perfect 10 out of 10 for its ease-of-use.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

I find the note section of Amplenote somewhat cluttered. It feels like my jots, regular notes, and even archived or plugin notes are all jumbled together, which makes it harder for me to organize my thoughts efficiently. I would appreciate having a folder hierarchy to better manage and categorize my notes.

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplenote for task prioritization and scheduling. It simplifies my workflow by combining note-taking with task management in one place, allowing me to jot down ideas, turn them into tasks, and track deadlines without switching apps.

  ### 4. Effortlessly Organizes Life with Superb Task System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bashir A.

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

I love how Amplenote is incredibly easy to use right out of the box, which drastically simplifies my daily organization tasks. The product eliminates clutter by combining tasks and calendar functions in one platform, allowing me to uninstall separate apps. I particularly appreciate the superb task system with its priority ranking, ensuring I know what tasks are most important while offering reminders as deadlines approach. I also enjoy the customization options within the task system that let me delve into details and personalize it fully. The intuitive interface makes setting it up a breeze, and it seamlessly integrates helpful extensions, such as integrating my LLM API, to enhance my productivity.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

I use Linux and would have loved it if there was a flatpak version of Amplenote for me to use. The flatpak format is preferred by me because it is generally more secure, as it doesn't require using fuse like Snap packages do. Besides this, I feel that the user interface could benefit from some improvements to make it cleaner.

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplenote to organize my life, eliminating the need for separate tasks and calendar apps. It provides an intuitive task system with priority ranking and reminders, making task management easier and more efficient.

  ### 5. Amplenote: Seamless Integration of Tasks and Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carisa S.

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

I really appreciate Amplenote's task and calendar integration, which allows me to seamlessly create notes that incorporate detailed information, tasks, and even images. I can then easily transfer these tasks to my calendar, where I manage my work tasks and meetings. This functionality is incredibly valuable as it helps me keep everything organized and in one place, eliminating the need for multiple apps. When creating tasks, I often have a complete thought, and I love that I can detail the task as I wish within a note without cluttering my calendar. Additionally, I find the initial setup of Amplenote to be amazingly easy, which made the transition from Google Task smooth and hassle-free. I've been able to use Amplenote on my Android and Windows devices alongside Google Calendar, and it has significantly streamlined my productivity workflow. I would highly recommend Amplenote to others, as evidenced by my 10 out of 10 rating and my eagerness to recommend it to friends.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

I feel the widgets in Amplenote are incomplete. Specifically, the task widget does not allow me to mark a task as complete directly. Instead, I have to click on the task, which opens the app, and then I can select the task as complete. This additional step is inconvenient and interrupts the workflow.

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplenote to consolidate my tasks and notes into a single platform, integrating my calendar for smoother scheduling, which enhances my productivity and reduces the need for multiple apps.

  ### 6. Improvement of Organization with Useful Tutorials

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathieu R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

I really appreciate the category in Amplenote where I can leave jots, somewhat like a free space to drop notes throughout the day, then sort them at the end of the day. This allows me to have better structure and a clearer view of my ongoing projects and tasks to do, making me much more organized rather than having everything in my head. Additionally, I like the abundance of tutorials that make getting started with Amplenote quick and easy, even if the way of thinking and organizing notes is different from what I'm used to, it is ultimately better.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

For me, there are improvements to be made in task management and the notification system in Amplenote. I would like notifications to be sent at more appropriate times to improve the efficiency of task tracking.

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplenote to structure and classify my projects, which helps me better organize my thoughts and tasks instead of keeping them in my head.

  ### 7. All-in-One PKM Solution, Regularly Updated

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

I use Amplenote as my full PKM suite for daily notes, research, project planning, and as my to-do tool. I really enjoy how it all works together and appreciate that the development team really listens to their customers and updates the app regularly. The seamless integration with my Google Calendar is impressive, and the setup was easy, allowing me to start importing and creating content quickly. I'm giving it a 10 out of 10, especially with their regular updates and being very receptive to user feedback.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

Their search feature might need some improvement and the little curve to really use all their features.

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplenote has eliminated the need for multiple apps to keep track of my notes, tasks, and jots.

  ### 8. The Ultimate LifeOS Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplenote?**

Works as my "LifeOS" by being one place I can capture ideas, tasks and schedule.

**What do you dislike about Amplenote?**

Wish that mobile had more of the features available on desktop, like graph view & completed tasks

**What problems is Amplenote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to take me hours to decide what to work on. Thanks to Task Score, I now always know what tasks are most important for whatever context I am in. It's also super handy to have a single calendar I can use that syncs to all my external calendars, while letting me drag-and-drop the most important tasks I have pending.
