We currently use ambassador in our dev, test, staging and production environments. **What do you dislike about Ambassador?** Debugging an issue is a bit difficult as the community support and the reference documents are fewer. Although if we follow the steps in official documents, the process will be more straightforward, if we want to configure ambassador according to our needs, it will be a bit difficult. Pricing is also an area to consider, it is a bit costly for paid plans. Free plans only cover upto 10,000 Request per month. **What problems is Ambassador solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly we use ambassador for API routing. In GKE, we also use it as an ingress controller, so we don't need to install any third party ingress controllers. We also use Ambassador as an API gateway in other cloud platforms like Azure for AKS. You should have someone with solid technical experience in these areas to effectively implement these solutions successfully. This isn't really a dislike, it's just a caveat. **What problems is Ambassador solving and how is that benefiting you?** Their edge-stack solution provides us with an API gateway that supports JWT authentication out-of-the-box with AWS Cognito. It also supports segmentation between both our internally facing and externally facing APIs, as well as production and non-production support. We can easily configure new services by simply adding them to our YAML files and redeploying them. There are several capabilities to support image file transfers as well as to flexibly support authentication based on the header. ### 6.
