AWS Elasticache is an alternate of Redis if you are already into AWS stack. It fits best with serverless technology as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I personally did not like about elasticache is its implementation with Lambda. It was not easy to implement with Lambda functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Amazon Elasticache is being used by our product infra and storing data in redis by which our product need quick access. Along with aurora we used to experience seamless performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the more advanced setups may not be able to replicate on elasticache, so if you need to do anything in that area, we may need to rethink the architecture or run our own node based instead of managed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- not having to manage own redis cluster

- managed failover

- availability across multiple regions

There is nothing that I dislike about Elasticache. Everything works properly. Access to Elasticache Redis is limited to different Redis Auth mechanisms and does not tie in to IAM roles and policies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can create, update, delete elastic cache easily via API and it is very helpful to get accurate data everytime Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to configure, easy to access, and following all Redis API standards. and you would have options between Memcache and Redis I can provision it through the cloud formation and CDK with code.
