One of the fastest CDN you can opt in!
In fact, you van mever go wrong with AWS services or their services.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It's not that I dislike it, but if the pricing could still be lowered? That'll be a bigger impact for small time web dev like me.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not see it as much as a problem but more on if the pricing would be lower, that would hell out web masters like me significantly!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian N. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Quick and easy integration with Amazon S3. If you already using S3 then adding a CDN with Cloudfront is very straight forward. CloudFront has plenty of points of presence around the world and the price isn't bad.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

CloudFront is very basic. it provides edge caching of your assets on their servers, but does not come with any extras such as image/video optimization or automatic file type selection based on client browser.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudFront provides a simple-to-use CDN and is very affordable, especially when tied with Amazon S3. CloudFront worked very well for our e-commerce website to speed up the delivery of images and CSS/JS assets.

  ### 3. A fast and powerful CDN service by AWS with a tons of advanced features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyabrat Prasad M. | IT Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Cloudfront uses the large global network of Amazon of 205 edge locations to distibute and delivers cache content where the end-user is based. The best part is it also integrates with a lot of other AWS services, which makes it an obvious choice for those already using other AWS services. It also supports dynamic content as well as custom SSL.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

The initial learning curve can be high for skillset deployment and the price is a bit on the higher side compared to its competitors. The UI and configuration can be also be improved.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using CloudFront to deliver the static websites' content of our client created with Angular and React framework which is hosted on S3 bucket. We are also using Cloudfront to deliver dynamic content using AWS Lambda.

  ### 4. Best and Ultra secure content delivery network.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preeti P. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Firstly it is effortless to use for anyone interested in CDN. The quick setup process and easy distribution of your web content are also great support by amazon Cloudfront teams.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Firstly I would say that about negatives, price centric is a little bit high and should provide more features about security such as custom made headers were not straightforward.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped show off any content, allowed us to feature our service quickly, and increased my ROI.

  ### 5. Web streaming is made faster and more secured!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramadevi R. | Programmer analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Many organizations and MNC's are getting profited of Amazon CloudFront, as it offers secured, reliable and faster service especially during live streaming. The contents delivered across the internet are highly protected and encrypted.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

The main point which i dislike in Amazon CloudFront is that, not more technological stacks can be used. And even if any technical support is needed, the assistance fee is comparatively greater than other web services

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a fast content delivery network, Amazon CloudFront deals with dynamic web contents easily as it offers customising options before streaming across the internet. This customisation makes it more approachable to big companies !

  ### 6. AWS CloudFront - Content Delivery Network spread across globe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

AWS CloudFront is a global content delivery network used in AWS to improve the read performance, and content is cached at the edge location. There is around 216 Point of Presence edge locations available globally. CloudFront can access/cache the data from any origins such as S3, Application Load Balancer, EC2 instances. Origin Access Identity is enhanced security. CloudFront uses this OAI feature to access the files from the Private S3 buckets.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

As of now, there are no dislikes and downsides for this product

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the CloudFront Geo Restriction feature, it allows users to access our content only if they are in one of the countries on a list of approved countries. Also, it prevents users from accessing our content if they are in one of the countries on a blacklist of banned countries. CloudFront is primarily used for static content, which must be available everywhere and improve read performance. Contents are cached for a Time To Live (TTL).

  ### 7. Best CDN in Market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul J. | Senior Software Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Amazon Cloudfront is known for its fast delivery and connectivity with the S3 bucket. Within your AWS eco system, you can use CloudFront for delivering static data. The speed is a plus point, and the ease of uploading and replacing the content is just unmatched with other tools present in the market.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Recently I tried some other tools. They are good and have some enhanced features also. The only thing where I compromise a little is with the pricing and some elements like on the go crop or do some recognization on uploaded images, which some tools are offering.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

If you are facing a problem getting content quickly and with a secure network, go for Cloudfront.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So we have many tools and apps to be developed, and they have some heavy static elements which need to be oaded in the app. But you can't put all the images inside app that increases the size of the application, so we use CloudFront to serve the static images.

  ### 8. Cloudfront - An AWS managed content delivery service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar G. | System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Cloudfront is a good content delivery service from AWS. You can serve the request the fastest way using CloudFront edge location. We can also restrict user the content they can see using authentication. Cloudfront also can be deeply integrated with other AWS services like AWS sheild and web application firewall to protect you application from cyber attacks. The request made to CloudFront can be easily logged for further analysis.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

One thing I dislike about cloudfront is - it is an expensive content delivery solution. Also, it requires great skills to configure and intergrate other AWS service with it. Limited edge location available.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a government application hosted on AWS. We are serving users using cloudfront. The UI is hosted on S3 hence it has good integration with S3. We are also caching recent data in CloudFront edge location, which allow us to serve our users better. We have also intergrated WAF service to protect data and application fro DDoS attack.

  ### 9. Good CDN Service

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

Anyone should try out this service which needs a good CDN

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To deliver the websites and applications to viewers and customers. Low latency is a great benefit.

  ### 10. A fast and powerful CDN with a host of advanced features offered by AWS

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANurag T. | Software Engineer II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

I like the tight integration of CloudFront with other AWS Services e.g. S3, CloudWatch, Lambda@Edge and its large global network of 215 edge locations spread across 89 cities in 46 countries.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

- It's very complicated to set up and to deploy something on top of it.
- It's not user friendly
- All the components of CloudFront are distributed across various AWS Services.
- Pricing is higher as compared to other CDNs
- You can't add custom response headers in CloudFront, If you really want to do you can but then you'll have to use Lambda@Edge which will incur additional cost.
- Altogether there's only one thing that makes CloudFront popular is its Global network and Edge locations.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As all of our workloads are deployed in AWS and I'm having commendable skills in AWS Cloud so it's pretty easy for me to configure and maintain CloudFront.

The best part which I like it is no need to take care of performance and scalability.

  ### 14. Fast and secure content delivery system to accelerate the distribution of your web content.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martha S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Strong AWS incorporation: Amazon CloudFront is built with AWS Offerings like Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon Route 53 and AWS Elemental MediaServices as well as Elastic Load Balancing. Both functions are available from the same interface and can be programmed with APIs or an AWS Management Console.
Quick and Worldwide: The Amazon CloudFront Content Delivery Network (CDN) is highly scalable. The CloudFront platform has 217 presence points all around the world and utilizes strong Amazon network structure to provide optimal efficiency and flexibility to the end users.
Safety on the Top: Amazon CloudFront is a highly protected CDN that offers both server and device level security. Your data and apps benefit from a range of built-in security, such as the AWS Shield Standard, at no incremental fee. You can also use customizable functionality such as AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) to build and maintain custom SSL certificates at no added expense.
Highly programmable and APIs and DevOps Software with complete availability: Amazon CloudFront delivers a completely functioning API for designing, configuring and managing your CloudFront deployments. In order to customize and deploy their workloads with Amazon CloudFront, developers also have access to many resources, such as AWS CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, CodeCommit and AWS SDKs.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

High price: CloudFront is not cheap to use if price is the main concern. AWS charges you for instant assistance and you can pick each of the 3 products that are
1. Developer 2. Business 3. Enterprise
It is recommended to use CloudFront only for files where distribution time and speed are genuinely essential, such as assets for the marketing pages of your main website.
Total absence of transparency of the basic CloudFront framework.
Although Amazon offers a guide to maximizing CloudFront caching efficiency, you don't get a lot of transparency on precisely how cache operates in every area and every type of query. This results in less efficiency relative to a similar self-hosted system that you can customize to your specific use case.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

The decision is yours. The advantages of AWS are enough for everyone to want to try it out. Yet there are potential setbacks.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amazon CloudFront is the best web hosting system that accelerates the delivery of your web content, data delivery, videos and applications with high speed and all within a developer friendly and secure environment. It is also compatible with AWS – including physical sites that are closely linked to the worldwide AWS system and other AWS facilities, which makes access easy.

  ### 15. Speed up content delivery

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

The static content of a website speeds up by caching the frequently access pages.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It requires some learning to setup the cloudfront distribution. It's not straight forward just like creating an instance in EC2.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using cloudfront to serve static content from S3 bucket. It speeds up the performance.

  ### 16. Faster Content Delivery

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shagun B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

There are so many things that Amazon is doing to make it's services easy and secure. The OAI feature is really good and a must use for security reasons. The way edge locations are placed covers all regions very well and delivers content from cache causing a faster response to customers.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

The issue with creating invalidations in Cloud Front. It quickly scans and caches the data but the minimum time to expire is also too much. Hence, the data cached needs to be cleared manually by creating invalidations in the console. There should be a selective way to push data to certain edges only.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster response time, less load on our servers, restricting geographic access and maintaining and restricting flow of S3 bucket to and fro from the OAI feature.

  ### 17. Excellent choice, especially when running your AWS application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riley D. | Technical Development Program, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

CloudFront is simple, flexible and works well together with other Amazon services, as is the case with most things on AWS.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It may provide additional options for integration into cloud front of multiple resources or services.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

You should definitely start with Cloudhead instead of manually implementing inside of servers if you want to improve the quality of your product or services and cache mechanism and are looking forward to AWS.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In storage and improvement of our services, the AWS CloudFront service is really handy. CloudFront provides API caching that can be static or dynamic, servable from various locations such as S3 bins, etc.

  ### 18. Cloudfront - safe, fast and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lowell J. H. | Web Designing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

It is a complete CDN for all types of accommodation, has an unparalleled network, for delivery and distribution of content, at a unique speed in the market, thanks to the network servers Amazon has, this is something that is not found in no other platform claiming to offer cloud integration services, the transfer between the different servers is impressive, speeding up the content scale, in the different search engines, in this way we are always first in the searches that interest us.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It has a very complicated cache memory, I can not understand well, how this system ends in cloudfront, but always the files tend to give certain errors when they overlap each other, in a short time.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a website of first quality, with one of the best CDN in the market, if it is not the best, thanks to this we have a fast website, where we can provide all kinds of services, and upload all kinds of multimedia content, without destabilizing the full operation of the website, all kinds of static content stored in EC2, does not interfere with the operation of the website, and is available to be used at any time, thanks to this the user databases do not interfere, with the load of other files hosted on the site, in this way the visualization of all types of contents, images, videos and others is streamlined, working in a unitary way, without interfering with the other contents, which are used for the operation of the Web.

  ### 19. Awesome Global CDN Solution, reducing costs & improving efficiencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Measurably reduced load to our web servers, enabled our static content (web application) to be globally distributed to multiple endpoints around the world, instead of managing IIS web farms within a fixed location. Increased efficiencies and lowered hosting costs substantially.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

The delay when clearing the cache for a distribution, takes on average 15 minutes.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Global distribution of web application

  ### 20. CloudFront is incredibly easy to use, intuitive and puts us ahead of the game

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Associate Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

The power and simplicy to set up and configure and the abundance of features and configuration granularity. The design seems to be very well "thought out".

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Honestly, I have not run into anything (as of yet) that I have disliked.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

Understand all of the features that CloudFront offers before making any assumptions. We were getting ready to implment GZIP compression within a Lambda@Edge and then realized that CloudFront already offered GZIP compression for S3 origins at the click of a button!

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using CloudFront to "front" all new "customer facing" digital properties that we are moving out to the Cloud. We are also taking advantage of Lambda@Edge to solve a problem having to do with "Deep Linking" for larger single page applications that we are hosting within S3 buckets (as origins).

  ### 21. Amazon CloudFront - Content Delivery Network

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graham W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

The Amazon CloudFront content delivery network takes into account the worldwide dissemination of computerized content through territorial focuses that work in significant business centers. It diminishes dormancy in getting to static and gushing information through its appropriated content delivery channels, which guarantee that the information is conveyed to the beneficiary from the closest CDN server. Amazon CloudFront is a compensation as-you-go display that can without much of a stretch be incorporated with all Amazon Web Services.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

The price of Amazion Cloud front is very confusing and Technical support only available for an additional fee .

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for Live and On-Demand video Streaming and also for security and DDoS protection .

  ### 22. One of the Fastest CDNs and good features with old UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emre T. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

They have several CDN points all over the world. Good Cdn for our websites. I'm currenty use for my 7 websites. It has file (images, pdfs, videos etc) compression feature in the system too. You can find advanced use newest TLS 2018 But there is no POPs (points) on Turkey (Istanbul, Ankara etc.) although others have.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

ui is old. maybe they should improve and use more user friendly UI. Current UI is complicated for first time users. you need to adjust. Purging option is not good, also it is hard.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

If you are looking for CDN and has point on your country of the website host, select Amazon.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CDN. I'm using for my websites as CDN solution.

  ### 23. CloudFront is a great CDN service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

CloudFront is a great service to get someone started using a CDN. it's very friendly to use, has more and more features as time goes by, and actually is quite powerful.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

it is not flexible enough, and like all other AWS services, there is no option to have any custom features of configurations done for a customer by the service team.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are delivering content globally using the CDN features, but more importantly we utilize the compute abilities of labda@edge that integrate with CloudFront and allow us to perform business logic as close as possible to the user.

  ### 24. Cloudfront usage experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emil W. | Architecture Manager of Digital Marketing, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Quick setup and implement. It may just take you 30mins to finish every set. And it also provides future scale-up flexibility as an economic solution.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Purge interface is not so friendly and not for none-engineer to operation.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CDN is a very import service for the website. Couldfront provides an economic way to broadcast your website to worldwide and also give you an easy interface to manage it.

  ### 25. Still confused on what went wrong

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wiktor . | Software Tester, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

....................................................

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

I've tried to setup a simple s3 hosted webside with some additional lambdas and I got to the point that I needed to configure https for the domain name. Cloud front was involved there. There an issue somewhere and I don't even know how to debug it. I mean : I've tried to use it for a simple thing and ive ended up reading a ton of documents and still don't understand what went wrong... Didn't make this https still because of it...no time left on this task for now...

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None or minus 1$/month

  ### 26. Straightforward CDN provisioning for your AWS assets

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Quick to set up and manage distributions. Easy to manage multiple storage environments or s3 buckets storing vastly different content (for example, static resources, or live streaming content with RTMP).

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Not much, it's honestly a solid product. My only complaint is with AWS's handling of SSL certs for CloudFront (although this honestly affects many different Amazon products), DNS validation can be clunky and takes a while.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently use CloudFront to deliver CDN content to a vast system that serves large video files stored on AWS. We integrate with Web Application Firewall to restrict access by IP match, to prevent unauthenticated users from accessing protected CDN content.

  ### 27. Does what it should and Easy to setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

The ease of getting setup. I also liked the ability to modify as needed

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

I understand the reason for it, but the wait time to deploy changes is 15 to 20 minutes.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have users around the globe and this allows us to easily get content to them in a timely manner, instead of having them come back to the university servers

  ### 28. Faster sites, lower bandwidth costs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

The ease to implement and also the savings incurred. We save a lot of money on bandwidth thanks to cloudfront as where we are based, bandwidth is very expensive. Serving our static content faster by being closer to the customer helps with one of the company values of giving the best customer experience

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Not always the best CDN for certain regions and other CDNs might be faster with lower latency. There is also no support for web sockets which is the biggest consumer of our bandwidth

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster loading sites by being closer to customer
Lowering the latency of our sites for time to first byte
Reduced bandwidth cost so improving operational efficiency

  ### 29. Cloudfront review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan A. | Senior Developer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

It is very easy to set up, especially if your source is in S3.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

A single file is limited to 20GB, which in today's day and age, is insufficient.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

Increase document size support to at least 500GB per file. Multimedia files are large, noise files are larger. There is no need to limit it to 20GB if S3 can support unlimited object size.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

quick access to content for global users.

  ### 30. Great service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

So easy to set it up for my use case of software image distribution

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It is not easy to figure out how to set up web server configuration on origin server (e.g. Apache, Nginix, etc). For example, I still haven't figured out how to set cache TTL policies on directory index generated by default on Apache 2.2 webserver

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Software image and OS update mirror for FortiSIEM from Fortinet Inc.

  ### 31. Simple, Cheap and Effective

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

We have set up ci/cd for our deployment and we can deploy at any time of the day without affecting customers,

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It is not always easy to navigate thru the options we have to setup different seetings like for example adding new cache behaviors, i wish there was something in the console that would give you a quick example popup and a link

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

out ability to deploy seamlessly and at any time all acrros the world. we have customer from all over, and their experience is enhanced with us deploying to edge locations that are near them

  ### 32. Easy to implement multi-region content delivery.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis C. | Sr. Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

It's very easy to set up a multi-region content delivery endpoint for static websites or assets.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It would be nice if there's a centalized way to setup website/assets delivery using S3 + CloudFront, so far I've had to do this manually.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying user-facing web applications using CloudFront + S3.

  ### 33. Easy solutions for content distribution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I love how easy it is to use Cloudfront + S3 to host a static website. This has alleviated a lot of pain points in hosting servers.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

There is nothing much to dislike about Cloudfront except an outdated UI.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

S3 bucket + Cloudfront CDN helps not worrying about serve engines and massive configuration files.

  ### 34. CloudFront Review

Faster page loads internationally with images served through Cloudfront.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

it is simple to manage it, and it works.
overall in most places the exp. is good

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

in Israel CF doesnt have good enough service
the distribution creation takes 30 min
and the system doesnt have enough server side analytics - for example users analytics like we have on player side, are not exposed to the servewr side

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

scale of viewers

  ### 37. Too complicated and hard to automate

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

it's AWS so it can't be too bad. Also it can be easily automated with cloudformation or Terraform.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Domain name stuff. We were trying to replace what we did in CustomDomainName api gateway and it wasn't easy to do in Cloud Front.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

don't do it.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

API gateway could not restrict tls 1.2 so we had to use cloudfront.

  ### 38. Content Distribution Network

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

The best part of the service is to serve content to the customer at faster speeds. Helps with DDoS with integration with other service.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

The cost if the product is very high compared to other products available in the market.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

Reduce cost.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bring content closer to customer and terminating SSL closer to enduser.

  ### 39. Good CDN

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Ability to customize the domain that assets display as being delivered from.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Integration can be difficult with decoupled systems but this is probably more of a weakness with the content creation service.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serving media from S3 buckets to different sites and customizing the domain that the media is displayed from.

  ### 40. Great product. Easy to implement.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Easy to implement. Integrates well with other AWS services, like Elastic Load Balancing and WAF.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

While Lambda @ Edge solves some problems, it would be nice to have features similar to F5's iRules where you can route traffic based on headers, cookies, etc.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content delivery of static/dynamic pages, assets, etc.

  ### 41. Powerful but relatively expensive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

Relatively easy to configure and well integrated with the rest of AWS services, which is a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It can get pricey if you have enough traffic. For some apps we pay about half of the production cost on CloudFront alone.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

If you already use AWS just give it a try, it will make your app load much faster.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CloudFront for caching static content, it's easy to use and we like the service features, but it's a bit on the expensive side.

  ### 42. One of the best, reliable and cheap CDN.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjun K. | Senior Software Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2017

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

One of the best feature of cloudfront is that it is part of the AWS ecosystem, has an amazing free tier, very east to setup and also supports https by default. Lambda at edge is another feature that makes cloudfront unique and functional.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Cloudfront is very pocket frontly if you don't have a huge data transfer, once the data crosses several 100 TBs the prices go very high. Takes around 40 mins to setup, wish this would have been faster. Another downside is that cloudfront has fewer nodes compared to some other CDNs.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

Cloudfront works great with most requirements, but in case you are planning to use CDN for use cases such as video streaming there are other good options in market specifically for video streaming. Location is also an important factor, depending on the region you want to serve content there cloud be other CDNs that have more number of nodes/edges, hence serving content faster/with low latency.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary use for cloudfront is to reduce our server load, as we have to server tons of images / static content. Cloudfront has helped us in reducing our server costs and also helped our customers in getting our content faster, hence we're able to sell our services at a lower cost.

  ### 43. Use cloudfront for all kinds of web content

Eas of setup and the ability to set regional caching and control over sources. OAI with S3

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

Speed of distribution going enabled could be faster

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to execute http to https for S3 content and all integration into root zone apex for DNS

  ### 44. Best way to dpeloy AWS infrastructure

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cdn to static apps, or react frontends

Can't find anything I don't like about CloudFront at all.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving network latency for media downloads

  ### 48. Don't put in the wrong setting because it will break everthing

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan G. | System Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

I like that it's already integrated with other AWS services easily, but that's about it. It also seems very highly customizable.

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

It's really hard to use. Seriously. You really need to know what you're doing. I supposed you could always improve UI/UX, but I think that’s already pretty decent. I’m sure it could probably run faster too, but that’s still not that bad either. Amazon also keeps updating/changing their user interface, so we're having to re-learn how to set things up again periodically. Despite the redesigns, our CloudFront distributions continue to crash on us frequently and create problems when configured with DNS.

**Recommendations to others considering Amazon CloudFront:**

If you really really really know what you're doing, then this could be a viable option, but if you want to sleep well at night and not have to really think hard about setting up CDN and DNS then you might want to go with another provider until Amazon gets their stuff together here.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We tried using CloudFront but because it kept crashing, we ended up not using it heavily.

  ### 49. Cloudfront makes it easy to get a CDN up and running

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Amazon CloudFront?**

easy of use by just pointing it at an S3 bucket

**What do you dislike about Amazon CloudFront?**

nothing. service works great and does it's job.

**What problems is Amazon CloudFront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reducing latency / load time for high bandwidth imges

  ### 50. AWS CloudFront
