Alighieria Editor Reviews & Product Details

Alighieria Editor is AI-assisted copyediting software built for book publishers, editors and proofreaders. It reviews a manuscript in layers: orthotypography and grammar (following the RAE/ASALE rules in Spanish, The Chicago Manual of Style in English, or your house style guide), narrative continuity (raccord), fact checking against sources, and layout review on the final PDF (widows, orphans, runts, bad breaks). Every suggestion comes with its page and reason, and is delivered with tracked changes in DOCX, an annotated PDF or InDesign IDML, so editors decide what to accept. Around the text, it generates name and subject indexes, editorial translations into ten languages (including InDesign files that keep their layout), translation reviews, accessible EPUB 3.3 files, reading reports and press kits, plus AI-text and plagiarism detection and an editorial assistant that answers questions citing the book. An API with Python and TypeScript SDKs is available on the Enterprise plan. Built in Barcelona by editors and engineers, Alighieria is used by more than 100 publishing teams. Customer texts are never used to train AI models.
