Good solutions for CDN. **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Networking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2023 **What do you like best about Alibaba Cloud CDN?** libaba Cloud CDN's ability to distribute content to edge servers worldwide can significantly enhance website and application performance by reducing latency and improving load times. **What do you dislike about Alibaba Cloud CDN?** Due to the perception of it being a Chinese service, it's not widely used; however, it's showing remarkable effectiveness in terms of both price and performance. Just because it's from China doesn't mean it's all bad. If used appropriately and effectively, it could be efficient. I also have concerns about it being from China. **What problems is Alibaba Cloud CDN solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to use a CDN service for our global branches, and there was a lot of deliberation due to the high costs associated with other services. After comparing various options, we came across Alibaba Cloud CDN service and decided to implement it based on the positive feedback that it holds up well as a global service. ### 2. The load time for my projects is faster and more consistent. The UI is very consumer-oriented and easy to get a grasp on. And to top it off excellent customer service and a serviceable Dashboard. **What do you dislike about Alibaba Cloud CDN?** So far so good. Like I said performance of the actual load time for our bundled files to the customer has been satisfying yet. I will update my review in the future if any problem arises. **Recommendations to others considering Alibaba Cloud CDN:** Highly recommend Alibaba CDN fast and reliable. **What problems is Alibaba Cloud CDN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Preventing the waiting period as much as possible for customers and ourselves for primarily the bundled static files because of all the cloud computing power Alibaba CDN provides. ### 3. I personally use it to serve our PWA faster and cache our servers to that we can provide low latency & quick response from the servers so that the users don't have to wait, also did i mention its cheaper than competition. **What do you dislike about Alibaba Cloud CDN?** Some enterprise features that Cloudflare & Stackpath provides are missing but Alibaba Cloud CDN componsates that with quick responding CDN & without much hassle, for starters when i was trying out CDN's i tried Cloudflare's First but was somewhat disappointed but their service, you see when you point your domain towards their servers they will enforce their SSL and if you want your SSL Certificate to show up you need to install it on the EDGE & then configure Cloudflare which is not the case for Alibaba. **What problems is Alibaba Cloud CDN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Faster Content delivery is on the top as for our services the content need's to be served fast & rapidly, reqesting a server for those static files will result in server's slowing down so we use Alibaba CDN to drive our services faster also by caching. ### 4. I'm using the free trial now which is great for the enterprise version. I've never used a CDN before, just regular web hosting and so far it has given us some big improvements on load time of our websites. **What do you dislike about Alibaba Cloud CDN?** Nothing to dislike yet. I will update my review if I find anything. **Recommendations to others considering Alibaba Cloud CDN:** Give it a try and see if it works for you. If you are unfamiliar with CDNs don't be scared, it was easy to set up and support is good. **What problems is Alibaba Cloud CDN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Speeding up websites by using a CDN instead of regular web hosting.
