Lighting Analysts have dubbed themselves as the unofficial "industry standard" and I have no idea why. I can only imagine that the people who sing its praises have never actually experienced any other lighting software. DiaLux, for example, dwarfs AGI32 hands down. Even Visual Lighting software has more skill in its pinky finger than AGI32 will ever have. AGI's user interface is like something from the early 90s and is probably about as outdated as their development team. God forbid you're working on a big project and need to Re-calc for a change. It'll feel like you're waiting on your dial-up internet to finally load. There's no polite way to say how I feel about this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how many functions AGi32 has and the freedom of customization of fixture models. AGi32 is also easy to use and the results are clear to read. Overall, it is the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes 3D modeling can be cahllenging and time-comsuming. I prefer to build a model in CAD then import. But why not just do it in AGi32? That would be so much more comvinient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The program is easy to use once you get the hang of it. I have luckily been using the program for about 18 years and enjoy using it now more than ever. The results produced from the program are accurate and look great! I also really like how some older features came back - like the ability to swap out lumianire ies files in the lum def window. that's an awesome feature I really missed! The only thing about the latest version of AGI is the crashing that occurs when working in the luminaire definition window. crashes seem to occur if you jump around in the table too much without pressing "TAB" to move around, and when you working in a project with many groups. We use groups for continuous linear lengths, and for some reason this new version of AGI doesn't always like the use of so many groups. its unfortunate because for us, it makes it so much easier. The 3D rendering is instrumental. We can see the mounting heights and direction or placement of lights as in Revit. It's very user-friendly to set up the model. It has a lot of options for calculations and gives more opportunities to be more realistic. The project manager also helps us clean up the cad background the IES file editing is excellent. Nothing to say much but the keyboard shortcuts are not included. The calculations placement tool is not handy. Make shortcuts and clear the background for setting up the model. the printer have to revise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

rendering in photometric is the good thing I observed in AGI 32; I was working on other software where i found difficulty in rendering, and AGI is the best for both interior and exterior lighting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AGI32 is the US industry standard for lighting software. We enjoy how easy it is to add in a DWG to the design. In addition, the page builder allows us to build the custom reports needed for our client to present before end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Various views into the lighting design are readily available in AGi32, which are presented in detail, with scalable parameters that stand firm to practical inquiry.
