Adyen Payments has greatly enhanced our credit card transaction rates, especially for high-value transactions. The Adyen component is highly testable, and the transparency of payment states is impressive. Additionally, Adyen's smart routing operates with notable efficiency. The Adyen dashboard isn't particularly user-friendly, as it lacks visual analytics, which makes it harder to interpret data at a glance. We mostly use Adyen daily to receive payments and handle refunds as its our primary payment provider. You can monitor refund progress, track payments, and even help customers with ARN numbers. I like that I don’t need to switch between tools. I also like how it supports fraud checks during payments. Overall, it just makes the whole payment side of things easier—for us and for the customer. As a customer support agent, I use Adyen almost every day. One of my tasks is to check the refund and payment status of customers. I did not use the entire function as my role is set to be limited. I find that even in a limited access role, I still can find most of the information needed to assist with customers' inquiries. I like the simplicity of the interface which is easy to use and navigate. I also like the search results display if I am looking for certain transactions especially when a user reported fraudulent payment occurred from their card but they don't have much information. I can just search the payment using the last four-digit number of the card, their name, and the amount of transaction as well as use their User ID in our database. If you activate pre-authorisation for your transaction, Adyen will show the fee of pre-authorisation at the search list instead of showing the final amount charged which kind of hassle to open up each transaction to find out more information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
