They will also send posts to social media feeds and your website. You can choose the time frames that you want the posts to be released. Which eliminates having to use additional scheduling software. You can also send out a post, newsletter or email at anytime. Their analytics/reporting is also very easy to read, and from that you can create groups or tags. ### 7. Once I saw Advisor Stream, I knew it would save me time, but was concerned clients would not want a weekly newsletter from me, and feel bombarded...it turns out the clients love it, it looks more professional than my effort, and it takes me less time... **What do you dislike about AdvisorStream?** Initially there was a lot of US content, and the text customisation was a bit clunky but this is improving dramatically and as I get more used to the software, I am getting faster at putting it out each week. **Recommendations to others considering AdvisorStream:** Worth speaking with them to get a demo, and try it out. **What problems is AdvisorStream solving and how is that benefiting you?** Staying front of mind with clients, without being a pain is the main one I think. Advisorstream has streamlined this for me significantly. The feedback I have had from my clients has been fantastic. It was particularly helpful during the height of the pandemic market crisis when it was hard for me to call all of my clients in a short space of time. I would however, suggest that the end user take an active role in selecting the daily content. Make sure the articles are commensurate with your brand messaging. Also select articles from time to time in order to make your specific content stand out. **What problems is AdvisorStream solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a recruiter/business development so my experience and goals are different than an advisor. I find advisorstream provides our advisors with consistent and current content. When advisors use social media they often forget to post or post too often. Advisorstream solves those problems. They gather articles from all the top publications and you can peruse the library by subject matter. The second best feature of the system is, the automatically curated newsletters. I love the range of topics. **What do you dislike about AdvisorStream?** I would like the ability AUTOMATE different types of articles on different parts of my website. For example, one section of my website would have articles that center more on explaining various financial topics, while another part of my website would show articles that are more current event related. I currently the two different java scripts on my website, but because I was recommended to have the "post to all" button selected, it just posts the same article to two places. It works fine when I do it manually, but it would be nice to have it automated. **What problems is AdvisorStream solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solved: Automatic posting to social media Newsletters website content ### 14. It's useful. It adds some value. It also provides clients and prospective clients with information they might not otherwise have a subscription to. Like similar products it allows regular communication with these groups of people. **What do you dislike about AdvisorStream?** Some improvements could be made. While not easy, adding an ever increasing variety of publications to choose from would be welcome. Those could include the Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Time Magazine, etc., just to name a couple. Other services have access to some of these. It would seem doable. Also, added features to the where we write our text would be welcome. The ability to add attachments and/or pictures in the body of the text would be a nice feature. In short, in the almost 2 1/2 years I've been a customer, I don't think much has changed from a feature standpoint. I also think keeping in touch with AdvisorStream's client base would be very helpful. Keeping us posted as to improvements and/or enhancements to the service on a monthly basis would be great. Right now we get ZERO communication from them about their service. Knowing what is in the pipeline or what is coming up would be a helpful. Shouldn't be hard to implement. **What problems is AdvisorStream solving and how is that benefiting you?** None, really. It pretty much just allows regular communication with clients, prospective clients, and others. ### 15. AdvisorStream generally and Jamie Blasko specifically have cracked that code. My gawd, the treasure I can now find in my LinkedIn list, I can do psychographic probing and data mining. . . getting into the heads and hearts of the people opening up and reading the articles I send them.
