## Adobe Capture Reviews
  ### 1. Great App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carmen S. | Director of Clinical Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

This app should be so much more popular than it is. Adobe Capture is beneficial for any creative needs and ideas. I've used it regularly since I first downloaded the app. The color scheme and looks tools are incredible. And the best part: it all syncs directly to creative cloud. It's incredible! 10/10! If you use photoshop or premiere pro, or even illustrator, get this app.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

At times the grainy look becomes an issue and the smooth effect isn't strong enough to fix the image.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I found the name of a font with this app just by taking a picture of a sample. Also, the app gives you the freedom within your work to rework lines and shapes as much as you would like.

  ### 2. It easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinod K. | Manager Program Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

The newly added features are really great

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

It's working quit slow and needs improvement

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to capture help to create great themes

  ### 3. Works some of the Time

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

The app is a quick down and dirty way to move sketches roughly to vector (with a lot of clean up work).

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

I found that when I used it, the app was bloated with a lot of other features that perform poorly or that are just novelty. App, reminds me of the "effects gallery" in the CC suite. Usable early on but basically pointless when you get further in your career. I wish the app just focused on what it promises to do with a more robust vectorizing feature that was handy. Tools that would be even more useful alongside would be a more robust leveling feature to prevent skewing. If your aiming to remove the process of the scanner probally best help the app perform like one For this reason, the app really only lasted on my phone for a couple of months; and I went back to my hand dandy scanner.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

Don't get rid of your scanner and keep your sketches clean and dark.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moving sketches from my sketchbook to begin the logo creation process.

  ### 4. Excellent tool to integrate into your creations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

An app always at hand to create textures, brushes and color palettes wherever you are. Everything goes into Adobe's cloud library, so you can use the assets right away with softwares such as Photoshop or Illustrator.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

In my opinion, the tool for creating vector elements could be improved as there are applications around that offer better results. In any case, Capture allows you to create more things.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

I recommend it to anyone involved in graphic design both professionally and as an amateur. The app is very practical and easy to use. It interfaces with Adobe's cloud libraries and therefore is perfect for those who use Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe software.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very useful and fast tool, very practical because it is present in the smartphone or tablet. Personally, I use it mainly for color palettes and fonts, but I also find the tool that allows you to create patterns or textures to be excellent. I then use the assets in Photoshop and Illustrator.

  ### 6. SIMPLE STEPS FOR CREATIVE VECTOR IMAGES

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rekha S. | Social Media Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

The well-organized user interface, which is easy to use, even for beginners. Adobe Capture turns images into realistic vector images in few steps, and it looks so good. I use it to create creative vector images and sell them on other websites. It can even customize the font letters taken through the camera. It works accurately while integrating with other software like illustrator or photoshop.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

It is good for initial stage but sometimes the cloud storage stucks while uploading the image file. And the font technology result is not accurate as I was expecting it needs some time to time updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

The potential of this software makes it a great tool for beginners to polish their skills and learn. For creative people, the sky is the limit, and this software is sure to help them. This software is highly recommended.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can now create realistic and creative images with Adobe Capture. You only need creativity, not much mastery. By using the built-in colour stock, I was able to choose the perfect colour for my project, which made it stand out from the crowd. There is always a need for this type of technology in marketing and advertising, as the ability to be creative is indispensible.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

As a designer, I sometimes have trouble getting new inspirations, so I come to check Capture/Discover from time to time. It always has beautiful, colorful, and nice brushes or layouts. And I build and post my own layouts too, and it's a place for designers to share!

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

All is good on my end, I'm not a profound user of this Adobe Capture App, but it works well for me!

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I'm lacking of new ideas, I will go to Capture to take a picture of the sky, building, pets or anything, then try to convert it as a new pattern. And I also like to review the designs from other designers all over the word, and they always provides me new inspirations!

The best part of Adobe Capture is the ability to create vector graphics from a photograph. This has streamlined my creative process. It is very, very similar to the Auto Trace tool.

  ### 21. Integrating Vector Graphics with the Real World

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee S. | Executive Board Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

This has been a huge help as I create infographics for my academic institution. I work in healthcare and visual learning is paramount to making sure healthcare providers understand the concepts we're discussing, so using Adobe Capture in conjunction with Illustrator has been a huge help. The color theme feature is also really useful for creating eye-catching infographics that look professional.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

The font capture technology needs some work, although the concept itself is really interesting. I'm hopeful that this is something they'll improve in future versions of the app. The learning curve is also a little steep but I think part of that is because I'm a little newer on Illustrator itself so learning vector graphics is part of the learning curve.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

I would definitely recommend this app as a must-have for anyone using Illustrator and working with vector graphics. I'd imagine it's equally translatable over to the full graphic design world outside of healthcare. Even as a beginner it's relatively easy to use, and I've found that adobe support is very helpful. I would definitely suggest looking up examples of how others have used Capture in order to ensure that you're getting the best possible experience out of it. If your company offers Creative Cloud, go ahead and download Capture--it's fun to use on the go and provides a great mobile opportunity to keep working on projects even on your phone. The fact that it comes integrated with the Adobe suite makes it so simple to work with.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Capture has allowed me to use real-life elements that I encounter in my job in the hospital and connect them to infographics and other educational materials that I make for my team. Bridging this gap is really satisfying and helps bring the material to life.

  ### 22. Allows you to create patterns and vector based images

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kali F. | Graphic and Web Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

I like the features that allow you to take with you on the go. Creating ideas from images all around you. I love that it allows you to transfer to any adobe app/software to keep creating. The Font finder feature is amazing. I am always using it to find a font or similar font that I like.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

The storage is lacking, but they do off a package for another 20GB for only 1.99 us dollars a month. If you don't want to buy that though, I would say that is the downfall. If you don't know what the buttons mean that could also be a downfall in the design process. Adobe Capture is specific to Adobe products. If you don't know the symbols that could definitely dampen the chances of you know what to do with the app.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

I would say that this a great tool from Adobe for on the go. This app allows you to create outside of the office! I love that this app allows you to expand your horizons on creating a beautiful image.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have a wonderful feature that allows you to take a picture of a font, and it will allow you to find similar fonts. I also love the feature of taking a picture and seeing the color palette it can show you.

  ### 23. Extremely useful app for capturing assets for graphic design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rumsha A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

The best thing that is used was capturing SVG assets from our surroundings. We can take a photo of a flower maybe and extract it's outline as SVG that we can readily use in Adobe illustrator. We can also capture different colour palette from natural landscape and everyday scenery

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

I would love to see if the camera mode does not come on by default but instead we have an option to open whichever mode we like to use. Also we should be able to access or view our assets in app directly and not on creative cloud.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

I would recommend this to you if you are constantly searching for new ideas or take lot of time in drawing some stuff, just go out and take a photo come back and edit it, mash it together and create something new

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to capture every day objects and use their outline to create illustrations faster for my infographics work. It helped in making my process faster. Also the colour palette picker helped to get the colours from the same photo to create something unique and cartoony from normal photos

  ### 24. Adobe Capture Review!

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

The ease of use and ability to trace photographs, drawings, and other shapes into vector items

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

Absolutely no downsides that I have noticed. For a few user, downside would be cost of subscription.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to recreate old logos that do not have an updated file is a game changer.

  ### 26. A unique realm of creating your own design assets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy B. | Freelance Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

Adobe capture is one of my favorite mobile applications to use. Between the connectivity with Adobe Creative Cloud and the ability to create my own design assets, It offers so much. I enjoy using the image capture software to take black and white vector images of anything I see.

I don’t have anything negative to say about Adobe Capture. It’s free software that you don’t necessarily need an Adobe account to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

Get it. Just get it and play around with the software. It’s fun to mess around and create your own graphics. It’s also free and it’s one of the few apps where you don’t have to have an Adobe account to use.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Adobe the other day to find a specific color we used to paint our house. I used the color picker to take a picture of the wall and then I was able to mix and match the color from the picture I took.

  ### 27. Useful software for my creative phone

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinayak S. | Associate Specialist - Technology, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

Colors doesn't seems to as accurate as its in images

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

Software is good to have for reference.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In this creative world, its always good to have these kinds of software's for reference to find range of colors or automatically generated vector images for reference.

  ### 28. The creation tool that I've long needed and wanted

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Relton M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

Adobe has always been head of the pack when it comes to intuitive creative design solutions. Adobe Capture is just as easy to use as all of Adobe's apps. I love that I can easily capture and find fonts that are used in other designs and prints, and add that creative design to my training documents. I'm really excited to continue using this app to help better match in my graphic design, colors that I find on my everyday.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

I don't have any complaints so far. The only issues that I run into it that every font can't be found. That's likely not a fault of Capture. This app has truly been a great add. Adobe does suffer from poor customer service and technical support options for those under a certain pay category, but the user community is immense.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

Try everything that adobe puts out

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a solution to find fonts that I see in print and/or match theme colors for creative and training design. Adobe Capture has allowed us to easily find creative inspiration and add those ideas, features, and beauty to our own training materials. There are several font finders online now, some functional some not, but having a native app from a familiar and trusted design solution changes the game. Likewise, there are several color sampling apps on the market, but not only does Capture create a better user experience, but it also easily syncs this data with my other Adobe Creative apps.

As a teacher I use this for my secondary education classes for Art and I can create and share photos and it’s fully compatible with Adobe software

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

I really don’t hone who to use vector files so the vector tool is confusing.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using this software in the education Industry I can use this My hill students pick out the details in elements of design and are in everything from photos do something on the Internet to something such as magazines like wallpapers.

  ### 30. Confusing at first but now a necessity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Capture?**

The most helpful thing I find with Adobe Capture is the ability to create, draw, and edit pictures into SVG files.
This is helpful to me because I have not been able to find any other program that allows me to do this (or easily create patterns, or curate a list of colors within a project) within one interface.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?**

The lack of helpful tips and tools or explanations as to what some tools are.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Capture:**

I imagine having previous experience would make it a little easier to figure out. However, it's pretty straightforward if using for svg files.

**What problems is Adobe Capture solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me to be able to quickly create svg files and patterns with just a few clicks. The benefit is it is incredibly time saving.
