"Instantly Turns Real-World Inspiration into Design Assets with Seamless Creative Cloud Sync"
What do you like best about Adobe Capture?

I like Adobe Capture because it lets me take something I see in real life and instantly turn it into a design asset I can use right away. If I notice an interesting color, pattern, or shape, I just take a picture, and the app creates things like color palettes, vector shapes, or patterns for me, which is possible because Adobe Capture is built specifically to convert photos into palettes, patterns, fonts, and shapes. What makes it even more convenient is that everything I create syncs automatically with my Adobe Creative Cloud libraries, so I can open Photoshop or Illustrator and start using those assets immediately without moving files around, thanks to the seamless Creative Cloud integration built into the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?

I dislike that Adobe Capture can sometimes feel slow or laggy, especially when I am working with more detailed images, which makes the app a bit frustrating to use at times. I also run into issues when converting photos into vectors because the results are not always accurate, and I often need to fix or clean up the shapes later in Illustrator to get them to look right. "Key commands fail — but other basic features work well enough for on-the-go creativity"
What do you like best about Adobe Capture?

I like that Adobe Capture seamlessly blends assets from my other Adobe apps and groups them by compatibility. I can still use some features such as the pattern maker and vector generator. The features that do still work without bugs on my device in 2026 make my workflow much faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?

Sadly, Adobe Capture no longer works well. Simple commands such as 'remove background' don't work at all and instead return a 'try again later' message, and since it is only available as a mobile app, I dislike that I can't use it on desktop. I also don't think it's good to use for final, polished assets. Because it's so buggy and unreliable, I no longer use it frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Photo Beautification, Needs Desktop Version"
What do you like best about Adobe Capture?

I use Adobe Capture to convert my photos to different palettes and beautify them overall. I find Adobe Capture very good in terms of usability, like it's user-friendly and the interface is easy to get used to. The tools related to brushes and palettes are the best for me, and I love that I can convert any photo into a design-ready art, which is what its specific features are about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?

I don't like that Adobe Capture isn't a standalone app. You still have to use Adobe Capture with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. Also, it doesn't have a desktop version, which I would really like. Right now, I'm only using it on my phone, but it would be a great experience to use it on desktop as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Real-World to Digital Asset Conversion"
What do you like best about Adobe Capture?

I use Adobe Capture to turn real-world visuals into digital design assets. It helps me capture colors, shapes, patterns, brushes, and textures from photos or the camera and convert them into assets I can use directly in apps like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. What I like most about Adobe Capture is how fast and convenient it is. I can instantly turn photos into color palettes, shapes, and patterns and sync them to Creative Cloud, so they’re ready to use in Illustrator or Photoshop without extra steps. Turning photos into color palettes helps me keep colors consistent and inspired by real life. The shape and pattern capture saves time by converting visuals into reusable design assets. Overall, it speeds up my workflow and helps me design more creatively without starting from scratch. The initial setup of Adobe Capture was very easy. Downloading the app, signing in with an Adobe account, and starting to capture assets took just a few minutes. I’d rate it a 9 out of 10. It’s easy to use, saves time, and works seamlessly with other Adobe apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?

Some tools in Adobe Capture feel a bit limited compared to desktop apps. Fine-tuning captured shapes or patterns can be tricky, and performance can lag on some phones. More editing control and smoother performance would improve the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Design Process with Adobe Capture"
What do you like best about Adobe Capture?

I like how fast and easy it is to turn real-world objects, sketches, or photos into digital assets with Adobe Capture. I enjoy converting simple black icons and shapes into clean vectors that I can use in Illustrator. The color palette feature is amazing because I can extract colors directly from objects around me, which helps keep my designs consistent. The interface is user-friendly and intuitive, and the app runs smoothly, making it a reliable tool for creating graphics quickly. These features save me a lot of time and make Adobe Capture very valuable for my design work. The integration with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop makes my workflow much smoother and helps me maintain consistent designs across different projects. The initial setup was very easy, and I was able to start capturing shapes, icons, and color palettes within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?

While Adobe Capture is very useful, there are a few aspects that could be improved. Sometimes the vector conversion adds extra points or lines that need to be cleaned up later in Illustrator. Also, the app requires a stable internet connection for syncing, which can be slow in some situations. It would be great to have a more robust offline mode, so I can work on my designs even without a reliable connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Handy Tool to Turn Ideas into Digital Assets Instantly"
What do you like best about Adobe Capture?

Adobe Capture makes it effortless to turn photos into vectors, color palettes, brushes, and patterns. I love how quickly I can capture inspiration from the real world and sync it directly into Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. The integration with the Adobe ecosystem is seamless, saving me a lot of setup time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?

Some features require a steady hand or very clear images to get accurate results, especially when converting shapes into vectors. The app can feel limited if you’re not already using Adobe Creative Cloud, since its full value comes from integration with other Adobe apps. Also, it would be great if it offered more free customization options without needing a paid plan Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Must-Have Tool for Designers on the Go!"
What do you like best about Adobe Capture?

Adobe Capture is incredibly powerful for turning real-world visuals into usable creative assets. I love how easy it is to extract color palettes, create vector shapes, or generate textures just by pointing my phone camera at something. It’s like having a mini design studio in my pocket. The integration with Creative Cloud is seamless — I can capture a vector shape and instantly use it in Illustrator or Photoshop without missing a beat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Capture?

Occasionally, the auto-tracing for vector shapes needs some cleanup if the lighting isn’t great, but that’s expected with any capture tool. A desktop version would be a dream addition, especially for working with larger file management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
