It allows you to organize and schedule your case-related deadlines and syncs with Outlook and other email programs. **What do you dislike about Aderant CompuLaw?** Troubleshooting Compulaw issues can be a pain because many specific settings can mess things up, requiring working with their support to hunt down. We had a few calendar sync issues with Outlook that kept cropping up, and it took weeks of back and forth with support to find the root cause. **What problems is Aderant CompuLaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** The client I worked with used Compulaw as a case management and calendaring tool. ### 2. It is really like a big computer where you tell it what to do, and it will do it. Such as that you are creating an event, adding the type of matter and the client matter and telling it to attach a certain document to the event you just created and assign certain timekeepers to it and maybe even create a team code (which you have to create separately at a different time than creating the event but you can always go back to edit your events). Its like you say do this and this and print me a report and it will all be there for you. You can then share it with your firm and all the information you put in it will be shared which you can send to the firm in an email. **What do you dislike about Aderant CompuLaw?** It could be updated so that it’s a lot more manageable . I know that the other software that compulaw has like Compulaw MyView is more updated but this just seems too old fashioned. I feel like when I use the Compulaw Vision I am using a really old windows software. The colors are pretty old looking and not modern at all. I mean the software is really good for what it does but I just feel like it can be upgraded so that it looks more appealing to use like they did with Compulaw MyView (if that makes sense). **Recommendations to others considering Aderant CompuLaw:** its good to use. does the job. **What problems is Aderant CompuLaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** Docketing cases for law firms . ### 3. There has to be more progressive and current versions than Compulaw. The software seems very outdated for this century and it's not very user friendly. **What problems is Aderant CompuLaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** The functionality and time it takes for the software to load. The calendaring and keeping track of deadlines for cases have been beneficial. ### 4. It’s more of a nuisance than anything. They also do not have all jurisdictions available yet. **What problems is Aderant CompuLaw solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are ensuring full compliance with our court deadlines and saving employee time researching arcane rules of procedure. ### 5.
