**What do you like best about AddCal?**

AddCal solves the recurring problem of getting event attendees to actually add our sessions to their calendar. Instead of sending separate instructions for Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar users, we generate one universal "Add to Calendar" link that detects the recipient's platform automatically. Subscription calendars have also cut down on manual reminders. When we update a session time or add a new date, everyone who subscribed sees the change reflected automatically, without us having to resend a new invite. The RSVP management tools give us a live headcount without needing a separate form or spreadsheet, and the analytics dashboard shows us how many people actually added the event versus just clicked.

Pricing is also very reasonable for what it offers, especially compared to building similar functionality into a larger, more expensive event platform. As a growing startup, AddCal has clearly been iterating fast: new features and small UX improvements have shown up over the months we've used it. Their support team has also been responsive, and when we've asked about specific technical needs (such as handling a recurring event edge case), they've followed up directly rather than pointing us to generic documentation, which gives us confidence they're actually listening to customer feedback rather than just collecting it.

**What do you dislike about AddCal?**

The customization options for the calendar page itself (colors, branding) are fairly basic compared to what a full landing page builder would offer, so it can feel generic if you're trying to match a specific brand look closely. Team collaboration permissions work well for basic role separation, but assigning more granular access (for example, allowing someone to edit an event but not delete it) is not always available at finer levels. We also noticed that highly customized recurring event patterns sometimes need manual re-checking after a sync, since not every recurrence rule maps cleanly across all five supported calendar platforms.

**What problems is AddCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before AddCal, we manually created separate calendar file attachments or links for each platform, which meant extra steps for us and confusion for attendees unsure how to add the event to their own calendar. This has measurably improved attendance, since fewer people forget sessions they've technically registered for, and the subscription-sync feature means schedule changes reach attendees instantly instead of requiring a follow-up email.

**What do you like best about AddCal?**

We’ve used AddCal for our webinar events for almost two years now and have had the best experience. Their customer support is quick to respond and attentive to our requests. As an accessibility consulting firm, we need our website and tools to comply with WCAG standards, and the AddCal team has taken that seriously. They addressed the many accessibility barriers we identified in newer features and remediated the issues promptly. Overall, the tool’s features are comparable to those of competitors, but at about half the cost.

**What do you dislike about AddCal?**

We hope they will become SOC2 Type II certified soon, offer more customization for the email templates (HTML), and allow us to edit the language of all text throughout the platform.

**What problems is AddCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don’t have the resources to develop our own internal calendar invite system for our digital events. This allows us to use a product that’s maintained for both security and feature-driven updates, so new features and improvements are released without us having to manage it ourselves.

It's so easy to use and makes all of our events even better!

**What do you dislike about AddCal?**

Would love custom colours so that we can add our brand colours to events! But overall, no huge suggestions to make.

Allowing our clients/participants to add our events to their calendars! It helps our show-up rate immensely.
