Is EntComm free, or does it offer a free trial?

EntComm does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is EntComm pricing best suited for?

EntComm's pricing is best suited for mid-market organizations in compliance-sensitive industries. G2 reviewers from HR, recruitment, logistics, and IT services segments highlight GDPR audit logging, EU-resident data storage, and department-level access segmentation as the features that justify EntComm's cost at the 51–1,000 employee scale. The pay-per-use model also appeals to small businesses in construction and IT services that need unified chat, calls, and video without paying for unused features. Enterprise buyers in accounting and IT services appear on G2 as well, though they note participant limits and missing admin controls as gaps. Budget-constrained small businesses under 50 employees may find EntComm's pricing harder to justify.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of EntComm?

EntComm does not offer a permanent free tier. G2's pricing data for EntComm shows a free trial is available for evaluation, giving prospective buyers time-limited access before committing to a paid plan. EntComm's paid plans follow a pay-per-use model, meaning organizations pay only for features and usage consumed rather than a fixed seat-based subscription. Enterprise buyers can negotiate custom quotes. One G2 reviewer explicitly noted EntComm should offer at least one or two features free permanently, and another flagged that the absence of a free trial on their instance reduced trust. Custom enterprise pricing accommodates larger deployments with advanced compliance, API access, and segmentation needs.

Is EntComm considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers of EntComm are split on value. Small-business and mid-market users consistently rate EntComm 4.0/5, praising its all-in-one messaging, voice, video, and file sharing as genuine time-savers that eliminate app-switching. The pay-per-use model earns specific praise from G2 reviewers who value paying only for consumed features. However, multiple G2 reviews flag EntComm's pricing as too expensive for smaller organizations, with one reviewer noting the cost deters new users from committing. Recurring complaints about limited native integrations, basic reporting, and dated UI temper the value case. For compliance-heavy mid-market teams, the GDPR audit logging and EU-hosted storage justify the cost; for budget-constrained small businesses, value is less clear-cut.

"A Robust Platform for Secure, Compliant Collaboration"

What do you like best about EntComm?

I appreciate EntComm for its EU-hosted data compliance, which is crucial for our telecom technical meetings. The strict German and GDPR-aligned data storage ensures that every call recording, chat transcript, and participant log is securely stored on regional EU servers, providing write-once audit trails that can't be altered. This compliance drastically cuts audit preparation overhead. I also value its developer-friendly open APIs, which allow me to automate the extraction of meeting metadata and integrate it into our systems. This saves me hours of repetitive administrative work and helps me auto-generate analytics to track our meetings' focus areas. The enterprise-grade access segmentation is another key feature, as it allows me to lock confidential recording access to authorized personnel only, fitting perfectly with our multi-team large enterprise structure. EntComm is built for regulated technical enterprises, and every core function aligns with secure collaboration and data interoperability, making it an ideal conference tool for my workflows. What do you dislike about EntComm?

First, its native recording batch management functionality is very limited. When I host a series of consecutive RPA architecture workshops or client consultation calls, I cannot multi-select recordings to apply unified project tags, bulk export files, or schedule auto-archiving to our Prostream cloud storage. I have to process each recording one by one, rename files manually, and upload them individually. This takes up significant time after multi-day cross-department design sprints with dozens of recorded sessions. Second, the built-in reporting module lacks customizable dashboards tailored to automation project tracking. Though its API lets our RPA bots extract raw meeting data, EntComm’s native analytics only offer generic attendance and call duration metrics. It cannot natively filter meetings by project ID, tag, or business department. I still need to feed API data into external spreadsheets to analyze how much meeting time is spent on integration testing, tool performance reviews, or client automation requirements. Custom report templates would eliminate this extra step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
