Never was able to use it and no support provided. **What do you dislike about Activechat.ai?** I bought a lifetime deal on AppSumo in 2019 - five licenses. In January 2025, I tried to access my account and get everything set up and was unable to access my account or reach the login URL. I reached out the email address on the ActiveChat website footer (I have a screenshot - not sure if I can post email here) and received an auto-response that message failed to send because the account "does not exist." I then reached out to AppSumo support and received a message back that they would assist, including the line, "VIP AppSumo Plus member, we are moving your request to the front of the line!" I was soon going back and forth with AppSumo over January and February 2025, where AppSumo support said they would also reach out to ActiveChat directly and they would help me get this resolved. Several ActiveChat email addresses were also added to the AppSumo support chain. In February 2025 all communication stopped. I never once received a response from ActiveChat and AppSumo stopped responding to me in February, even though I have reached out a couple more times for a status update -- most recently 14 April 2025. I have now cancelled my AppSumo Plus plan and would not use ActiveChat product at all after this experience, as I do not trust it at all. **What problems is Activechat.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Never was able to get it set up, so it caused problems and stress. It's much faster to make and deploy a bot with for any purpose. **What do you dislike about Activechat.ai?** It can be a little clunky and have some bugs at time. In the past year they've missed every feature release deadline they have set; some by 10+ months. They have once again paused feature releases and moved back long overdue ones to the might not be developed category. These bots are very flexible since they can be used to be able to perfectly handle systems such as woocommerce among others. At the same time I like it because it allows us to serve customers in the best way as if it were a real person without the client noticing it very much. Also this system can be integrated with other applications in order to create a unique tool. **What do you dislike about Activechat.ai?** This system is incredible, but needs to be made certain improvements, such as giving greater compatibility with other browsers that is not just Google Chrome. Usually this system is very good and I do not have negative opinions about it. **Recommendations to others considering Activechat.ai:** Honestly to have a system of this type in my business has given a before and after that has left us all happy and very comfortable. I recommend this system extensively since for me it has been a great investment. **What problems is Activechat.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** Thanks to this system, we have been able to save time and money in the hiring of key personnel in the customer service, since very few people are interested in this type of services, being able to have a program of this magnitude is without doubt of great help. Although I do not know much about programming this system gives me a complete tutorial that lets me be a professional programmer. At the same time having an attentive team of technical support in which they answer my questions is very important for me and my business. ### 6. Mostly, they offered one solution... Facebook Messenger. What I really like about Activechat is that they integrate all bots in one place, so you can have Messenger, a widget on your site, SMS, and other bot channels. This saves time and is easier to set up. Pros: - Several bot channels - Several bot templates - Visual and easy setup - SMS bot - Easy to install on your site - You can send mass broadcasts - They are improving integrations. Making a bot is kind of easy to make complex bots, and I'm not a programmer. They also offer really nice templates and examples, making it easier to get started and learn. **What do you dislike about Activechat.ai?** What I don't like about Activechat is: - They lack growth hacking tools. - The support is slow. - Still not a very mature product, only 3-4 channels (I'm waiting for WhatsApp, Instagram). - The UI is ugly (I'm sorry, but it's true). - There are some bugs. - Cannot take control over chat. - No Zapier. - No RSS/feed integration (to automatically send news). - No follow-up or segmentation. **Recommendations to others considering Activechat.ai:** It's a really nice solution for building bots. **What problems is Activechat.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** We tried to make a personal assistant bot and an e-commerce bot. ### 7. Using the flow/sequence diagram, is really easy for both developers and designers to create sequence (skills) and collect the data via their blocks. Readymade templates (leads magnet, ecommerce, etc) for anyone to first kick-start their bot and easily make changes accordingly. Best, there's Dialogflow integration for NLP. **What do you dislike about Activechat.ai?** The UX isn't that great and can be quite confusing but from their updates, they will be revamping the interface for better user experience. Another flaw may be the server lag which i believe they're also looking at and scaling up their infrastructure. Overall as with many startups, is understandable there'll be bugs and flaws but this development team is actively improving with user's feedback. Integration with Woocommerce is also really amazing, never seen in other chatbots something like that. NLP as well as messaging platforms.
