What do you like best about Abstract API?

The developer-oriented documentation is great, with examples in common languages. I was up and running in almost no time! Because I can license exactly what services I need, Abstract API is also very cost effective for my startup. As our needs evolve, I will likely pick up more of the services they offer. What do you dislike about Abstract API?

"Doubled The Price With No Warning Out Of The Blue"

What do you like best about Abstract API?

The API documentation is adequate to setup software to use with their API. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Abstract API?

In using the email verification, there were emails that were categorized as "UNKNOWN"that other email verification platforms were able to correctly identify. Our application required up to 5 verifications to be done in a short frame of time - we could only send 3 verification requests per second without the platform returning an error - so we had to sleep our application (and delay the UI) for a second after 3 verification attempts in a window of time. This to add to the unexpected doubling in price that was done for some reason - we didn't find out about it until they threatened to disable our API key, as we have spending limits set on our card. Subsequently, we had to find a new platform to replace this one within a moments notice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Abstract API solving and how is that benefiting you?

Abstract API offers a number of API's for various functionality. We had been using the email verification platform - our application has contact forms for over 50 sites that the user leaves an email address that needed to be checked, along with emails that we were routing their requests to be processed needing checking as well.
