ABBYY can be recognized and extracted from the skewed, rotated, and sometimes low-quality document. ABBYY provides many connectors and actions which able to easily used with RPA tools like Blue Prism. It is extract OCR data rapidly with compares it to other document recognition and OCR tools. Bit costly Instructor-led training cost. It should add ML skills that can easily identify hotel restaurants, income tax, government cards, and invoice data according to country standards. The cost should be cheaper than now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Generally, I work with many different types of automation and majorly work with Business Invoices Data, Restaurant Data, OCR Data, Billing Data, Insurance and Banking Data Forms and at that time with RPA tools I always use to ABBYY because of best performance compare to other tools. When it comes to handwritten, accuracy is a bit low, but I hope in the near future new updates will come to resolve this issue, also in some cases the document matched in Flexilayout Studio will classify as unknown documents in Project setup station. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can train any type of documents using ABBYY Flexicapture, it has certain search elements like Static text, Character string, Label field, Barcode, Date, Time, Paragraph, Group elements, Table etc.. to extract any type of data we need. Also we can extract data from a Paragraph using custom scripts in Project setup station. Also we can export the extracted data to Excel, CSV, Database etc. Shortly I can say if you're going to process a document, of any type, ABBYY Flexicapture is the best option now in the market Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ABBYY Intelligent Document Processing?

I'm working as an RPA Developer and have worked on projects where most of the projects have a document understanding as a part where I have to extract information from the document. In this case, I prefer to use ABBYY Flexicapture Studio has an extraction accuracy of 90% which is no other OCR tool. The template defining in the studio is very easy to define by the user which makes the process quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are very less video references and tutorials related to the flexicapture. They have to provide more documentation on how to integrate with other tools like UiPath (as I work on it). What problems is ABBYY Intelligent Document Processing solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm using the Flexicapture SDK 12 version and I use this tool to extract key information from documents like medical invoices, candidate resumes (BGV), bank statements, purchase orders. While using this tool, the benefit which I felt is like I am able to define the template in a very easier way, and also it is enough to define the template with minimal documents for the tool to understand. Also, after creating the template exporting the template to the administration station to view fetch the template is able to extract the details as needed by uploading a new document which is easy to develop the template and export it.
