**What do you like best about StarShip?**

We’ve been using Sage 100 for many years and have implemented several complex integrations throughout the years. Moving to Starship Cloud felt like it would a big change, with risk. After we started working with Brandon and the conversion team, we quickly realized that we were in good hands. The Starship team was patient, thorough, communicated clearly and worked methodically, through the entire process. The transition was much smoother than we expected. We’re very satisfied and grateful for the experience.  The new technology was easy for our team to learn and we feel that we will run faster and more efficiently on the cloud.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

Our only wish is that there would be an easier way to onboard users when using Azure virtual desktop with multiple load balancing hosts. That required each user to be setup with 4 separate connectors (one for each host).

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to process our shipments from Sage directly to starship with the data being pulled and labels automatically printed is great. Getting reports is a breeze and the ability to integrate with many carriers is also fantastic.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

The platform is intuitive, reliable, and has significantly streamlined our shipping operations. It has quickly become an essential part of our workflow and is performing exactly as promised

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

So far, we do not have any "dislikes".  The product is performing as advertised and is very reliable.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use StarShip in conjunction with Intuit Enterprise Solutions, and it has significantly streamlined our shipping process. StarShip eliminates manual keying by importing shipping information directly from the Ship To field, which greatly reduces data entry errors. It also automatically records freight costs and tracking information, ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping. In addition, StarShip emails our customers with tracking details and package content information, improving communication and overall customer satisfaction.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

It's convenient and easy to use for both younger and older people. It connects with our Quickbooks Desktop and posts our tracking back to all sales orders.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

It's hard to get a hold of the support team. You can't easily call in, and when you do call in and get through, I haven't had an easy support person. It normally was someone who didn't really know how to fix the issue.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are working on all behind the scene issues. Fixing any errors with connection issues. It helps run our business smoother with less time wasted.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

StarShip has helped me be more efficient with shipping and invoicing orders. By integrating with Quickbooks, the copy and pasting of shipping information is no longer necessary because when I refresh the page the information is automatically loaded. I will never not use this program. My stress level to get orders out has greatly decreased because of the speed, efficiency and productivity this program has given me. I have already recommended StarShip and will continue to do so. I have 2 main contacts and they have been extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction for support or just answering questions. They have been always available. I can't thank them enough for all the assistance they have given. StarShip is an incredible addition to my day to day operations.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

The downside is that I wish I knew about this program sooner.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

integrating the shipping information into Quickbooks so that I don't have to manually add the tracking and costs to a customer's invoice.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

The best thing about Starship is that it combines all your shipping needs, including parcel, drop shipments and freight, into one easily used program. This software is hands down the best solution for any company that wants to centralize all of their shipping needs into one place.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

The complexity of Starship in what it is achieving can mean there is quite a learning curve. Once you learn the program, it is easy to use, but you must learn how it works. If all else fails and you become frustrated, don't hesitate to call or email their support team.  They are an amiable staff of developers and know their craft; every problem I've ever had has been solved with a simple conversation with them!

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we integrated Starship with our ERP, the results were terrific. It allowed us to get our shipping times down from around 2 hours to 45 minutes; that's how much it improved our productivity.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

Years past we had always been using Worldship to process UPS packages, it works okay for what it is, but if we wanted to use other shippers it became cumbersome to have 3 or 4 different versions of shipping software for each company we use, and that is just for parcel. It was decided to try out Starship mostly because it had the capability to integrate with our dealership software, the setup was a bit time consuming and at times confusing, but with the help of the support team at Vtechnologies we got the whole parcel process streamlined. 

After this happened we were able to keep up with daily demand quite easily, so much so that when one of the two parcel shippers quit, we were able to devote the other worker to parcel shipping full time and was still able to keep up with the demand. 

After we streamlined the process further we implemented it company wide and are now able to ship a package using Starship in a matter of seconds. 

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

The initial setup was a bit time consuming and confusing, this is not necessarily Vtechnologies fault, it was more finding how to pull the correct information from our dealership software into Starship. And it took some trial and error to figure out exactly what was needed. 

The other thing is the prices for adding LTL carriers, I believe they are way over priced for what they are, and considering there are so many of them, if you really wanted to have access to them all you will have to put a lot of cash up front. I am sure for larger companies putting out a lot of LTL on a daily basis  it would be well worth it, but not for us. 

**Recommendations to others considering StarShip:**

Do a cost and time analysis of your parcel shippers. You have to determine if the cost savings from using Starship will be higher than the purchase and implementation cost.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Starship has increased productivity by around 200% just based on package output alone. The time required to process a package through software was decreased by about one fifth the original time. This allowed us to shift around a single worker when we lost our second employee assigned to parcel shipments.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

The best features are being able to compare rates among multiple carries quickly, being able to import orders for several different customers with different label requirements in one smooth run.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

Sometimes processing large quantities of orders can be very time consuming.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to meet all of our customers shipping requirements easily with minimal manual intervention.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

The software allows shipping labels to be printed from any laptop that has the StarShip application installed.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

The software is not easy to navigate, and the customer service is not always helpful when issues arise.

Our company uses multiple shipping companies, and StarShip allows all of our shipping labels to be printed in one batch.

The software is easy to use and it links to my erp system which makes it easy to take orders and ship

It is a little slow printing out the labels and paperwork

If you are a small or medium business shipping out less than 100 boxes a day then this will be a  great system.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not solved any problems, shipping is shipping. However the benefit that I am happiest with is the direct right-back with the tracking information.

The time it takes to setup is taxing, even though it is necessary.

Work with the Vtechnologies support as best as you can to streamline the order process.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accuracy in order delivery has greatly improved for our company. Our customers aren't receiving the wrong orders as frequently. This has garnered additional positive feedback from our clientele as well as improved our reliability in their eyes.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

The thing I like best about StarShip is the quick scan that allows me to scan any order without having to type in any type of information cutting down a lot of time for me when it comes to shipping out packages during are busy season. We are also able to easily save customers shipping account numbers into StarShip which is very helpful when it comes to pulling up their orders.  

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

There was some issues with ShipShip and Eterm reading each other but it was easily fixed so I really cant say anything bad about it. There was a little bit of a learning curve but after that everything started to run very smooth. We spent a lot of time the first week calling customer service asking questions and they were very friendly and very helpful each time so it worked out great.

**Recommendations to others considering StarShip:**

Give it time it may seem like a lot to learn but it really isn't. I can see that it was set up with the intentions on serving the customers the best way it can.  

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My efficiency and accuracy have when up. Are customers are getting their orders a lot faster due to the fact that I'm able to get things out quicker. Tracking packages and looking into the shipment  history has been very easy and having the options to go back a few months and get any tracking number or any other information has been very helpful.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

I like the ability to integrate directly with our ERP (Sage 100). This makes order import into StarShip a breeze that really increases efficiency. I like having all of our shipping providers rates in one place with the ability to rate shop and validate addresses for the best delivery experience possible.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

While there is integration with Amazon, I would like to see better use of the BuyShipping API offered through Amazon. This would be especially helpful for SFP shippers that are mandated to purchase shipping through Amazon. I also think that support is a bit lacking. It seems they attempt to help but do not really try to understand the issues you are trying to solve prior to offering solutions which can lead to a lot of wasted time.

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were trying to better streamline our shipping operations. Prior using different systems for UPS, USPS, LTL, etc... and StarShip allowed us to consolidate this into one platform with the ability to import orders directly without the need for additional add-ons. We were also able to solve the issue of shipment feedback into our ERP and eCommerce systems using StarShip.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

I do like how they were able to integrate their software with Acctivate to process the orders for shipping. Most of our customers pay for their own shipping so we don't utilize the software to find the cheapest rates. 

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

It is slow, also if an error occurs you have to hit the ok/next button to continue. 

**Recommendations to others considering StarShip:**

Starships does it job. I wish it can be faster at times, during peak seasons, it takes a while to just process all the orders.

Starships print out our Fed Ex/UPS labels for our customers.

**What do you like best about StarShip?**

Easy to link shipping accounts and great for 3rd party shipping solutions. When customers each have their own shipping requirements and preferred carrier, it is nice to be able to use a single program while going through your orders.

**What do you dislike about StarShip?**

Advanced setup can be tedious. Terminology used in the shipping screens can differ from terminology needed to setup advanced shipping rules, and search options. 

**Recommendations to others considering StarShip:**

Works best when used as a module in other warehousing or sales software 

**What problems is StarShip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have customers which have very specific and different needs, and starship is able to implement these advanced features, such as placing specific order information in label fields, and making sure freight charges or baked in handling fees are only passed to specific customers.
